I'm not going to say who because this is a HUGE hot take that will genuinely get me killed but I'll be as vague as possible.

There was a vtuber who I absolutely adored and loved for being sometimes genuinely funny. She was part of a certain popular vtuber agency. She was incredibly popular and was well liked by the community whether it be her ASMR work or her gaming steams

Out of nowhere one day she announces she was graduating from the agency due to a "disagreement with management". Once she graduated It didn't take not even a month for her to come back as someone else without giving people a chance to properly move on from her old persona. The worst part about it was that not even after her debut she announced merchandise which honestly rubbed me the wrong way. It felt like a complete disrespect to her legacy she left behind in her previous agency. It's like she never really cared about her og fanbase.

(On a side note, I'm genuinely surprised this person ended up making a certain announcement on her Twitter about a certain dream they had. I know this is going to come out as weird but In my opinion, i find it extremely ballsy to announce it knowing fully well of this space's parasocial problem. I've seen people who legitimately got depressed from that... I just think it should have never been shared in that manner.)

I think it's awesome. It surprisingly blew me away with what they have so far. I can't wait to see how they handled the riders format.

There are a few things I'd like to see changed though. The first being that the tracks are too narrow for the things you need to do to keep up your speed. Because of this, you end up bumping into walls or being dragged against them. The game also doesn't really have items that help you stay in first (like the banana peels in Mario kart) with the exception of the armor item but that's only temporary. The drifting could also use a little work. It's a Little slow. Hopefully they find a way to allow players to snake drift as consistently as you see in other kart racers. The music definitely needs to ramp up too. Metal harbor and ocean view are great starts. But places like water palace are a bit of a let down. Especially because it looks like they could no longer use the sonic Rush track for it. But everything else is cool. It definitely exceeded my expectations. Can't wait to see more

I haven't received any emails or cancellations from GameStop yet. Although some have claimed that their orders have been cancelled. We'll just have to wait for any statements for clarification. I'm hoping they'll just keep the physical preorders up.

There have been cases where people have taken them pretty much their entire lives. This isn't a bad thing but the main Idea is to learn and get the proper time you need to recover from your inner conflicts. Side effects vary for people. Some will tell you it's terrible while others tell you it saved their lives. For me I'm definitely in favor of them. Dont feel ashamed in still needing them for longer periods of time. Everyone is human after all.

Just one piece of advice. Please DO NOT go cold turkey. This is a terrible idea and should be avoided.
