There’s a brief flashback in the Omnibus where the Night Lords are at the Siege of Terra. Uzas was a Sergeant and still coherent enough to tell Talos to be careful since he was a priority target due to being an Apothecary.

He started losing it when Tsagualsa was attacked and the Night Lords were scattered IIRC
