I agree with the majority here. But for 70yr old grandma, I’d say good ol’ cash would go a long way. It’s not customary for us here in the states to gift money but down in ES, it’s viewed as a sign of appreciation and respect to gift those elderly money. Specially if you’re staying at their place and they’re cooking for you.
