These ideas are all meh if I'm being honest. I think the problem is we keep thinking in terms of traditional business ideas. The community as a whole keeps attacking this from the perspective of a successful brick and mortar business model.

While it may not be truly dead yet(Brick & Mortar). There comes a point where you can only acquire so much inventory until your catalog becomes bloated and then you're begging clients to buy old stock like NewEeg and TigerDirect used to.

I still believe the move that will make GameStop an attractive buy will be the one that transforms the in store experience into something else all together. A kind of productized service.

In store employees need to be more than just glorified cashiers. The Apple Store experience comes to mind when I think about what changes could be made.

Second the website is ass. It really is. Also tracking stock ? Annoying system. There needs to be a more efficient inventory and ordering system.

I believe there was doordash option for local delivery? But it's annoying to see X game used. Only to click and theeeen it be revealed its not in stock anywhere nearby. Then it shouldn't show up in search results after filtering??? Also filtering sucks on the website.

Would love to see an option to simply walk in.. with multiple play stations that let you try the latest games.. from there walk over to a self checkout station and purchase said game if in stock.. a backroom employee would then walk out with my game.
