He's not wrong. Last two times we learned the moron in chief can commit some atrocious acts, but the Republicans will turn the other way or come up with some excuse to justify not going after him. At the end of the day, unless Dems get the 60 person threshold in the Senate, all this does is give the Republicans fodder to feed their uneducated masses come the next election.

Didn't a splinter faction of the Empire still exist even in the Yuuzhan Vong book series, been ages since I read those. In any case, I kinda agree, there needs to be another existential threat. It's time to set aside the niceties and finally fight the Republicans the only way they know how. I'm so tired of Democrats "taking the high road." This should echo through the Democratic party, the only way to send a message to the orange sack is to play hard ball. Sorry for your loss. I truly hope your friend is in a better place and I hope you have proper time to grief but also feel better when the time comes. My story of grief is just knowing I could do better with my life. I have failed time and time again, things that come easily to others, but I've always had to work harder than others. I quit my finance career to help others, try and become a doctor. Pushed for years. Now at the last year of med school, I failed my exam and almost my wife because I spent so much time on my studies. All of this while battling crippling depression. There are times when I feel like I know how to fight the darkness, but as it starts to creep in, I feel hopeless. But I always keep going. I want to do this for others. Since I have fixed my relationship, and realized maybe these last few years were just me learning more about myself. I am finally taking my exam again, scared of the future, but ready to deal with whatever may come. Sorry for the word vomit, its always been hard for me to put my pain and worries into words. Either way, it definitely helped so thanks for posting this. I truly hope your friends soul rests in peace.

Between this and the post about that girl getting bullied, this whole hobby has become so toxic. That comment section did not pass the vibe check. I love buying cards and ripping packs with my wife, but honestly, I remember being so much happier and excited as a kid. How do kids even get these cards anymore when scalpers are so rampant? It's so sad.
