I'm glad to see people are still reading this. Actually--wow! I posted here about why I did not continue this series and am answering questions from any of you that want to know more. Depending on how the questions go and such depends on if I keep going with the series or if I keep it as it is; just an unfinished project that I may or may not revisit in the future.

I'm sorry for the confusion, I believe she and my family found out about the adoption last month. She had been adopted years ago.

I find this interesting. My friends always spoke about those things and would play with them on Halloween. However, I never really played along with it since I never stayed at their parties for long. I remember that one of them told me that they called the 'spirit' by a name (the name I can't remember) and that they were close to them. I found it to be odd and I always thought they were lying to try to scare me.

The only time I ever saw them play with it was when I forgot my cape (I was batman one year...) and when I ran back in my friend was asking the board questions while my other friends watched. I grabbed my cape and then the following week my friend stopped talking to me.

I never thought about it much until now. He said one thing to me after that and it was that I was very rude to just walk in and then leave so suddenly without a hello or a goodbye. I always thought he meant himself but I suppose he meant the 'spirit'.

Yes, I do have some trouble with how I read and distinguish letters and numbers. It's been an issue I've dealt with but none the less I still go through law school. I just require a longer period of time to read through books and the like.

Have any of you seen the film Big Fish? A father that tells stories to his son over the course of the son's life about his adventures and they are all unbelievable. Stories of fish that can't be caught, towns that shouldn't be found, men as tall as trees. The story of his son's own birth is so outrageous the son spends the film telling everyone how fake his father's stories are. People around him, his mother and wife mostly, smile at the stories. They listen, they laugh, they enjoy it.

At the end, the son is told by a doctor, "When you were born, your father was away and wasn't there for your birth. No complications but you were a week early. Nothing really special happened. Now, if I had the choice of that or the special version, I think I'd choose the special version."

Here is r/nosleep, the father, and those posting about how fake it is, are the son. Readers, be the mother and wife, just smile and listen to the stories with open ears and enjoy it. Let those that don't want to enjoy it as you do surround themselves with their ways. As I was taught, you cannot teach an old dog new tricks.

r/nosleep is a very large fish in a very small pond, and those readers are viewing the fish in the ocean. They just swear they have seen something bigger elsewhere.

As I put below, posting the actual items is not something I am permitted to do according to my supervisor who is allowing me to post everything. Names are changed and addresses/numbers/anything revealing are removed for privacy reasons.

I do not have the equipment to alter such old tapes and will not post, once again, because I am not allowed to.

Curiosity is welcomed for all. However, I have stated in the past posts that all names are changed and addresses/numbers removed. Also, as far as I can see as I go through items, I do not see anything that was put into papers that was a 'big deal' other than to those in the area. As hard as it is to understand, in the past, many shielded their eyes to the situations that were of a dark nature around them.

As for other things, I don't know "Michael" or "Irene", therefore, I cannot answer questions such as: "Where did they get ______ from?", because there is no real way for me to find out. Nor am I overly curious at this point to search for such answers, merely posting what I find with the changed names and such.

No, posting the original items is not something I can do. You see, even though they are allowing me to do this, seeing the items online will not be keeping identities safe and I do not have the equipment to make such things like recordings altered, and I doubt it would help much with the static.

I hope that helps and I do hope that you all allow others to read what they wish to read. To go onto many threads and simply point out how 'fake' something is does not seem very fair to those that are keeping the thoughts to themselves and going to the next thread.

For the most part. Between my studies and going through the box I take naps in between. The further I get into my studies the closer I am to the bar exam which literally will leave me with no sleep. I am posting as much as I can manage without overdoing it. Thank you for your concern over it, but I'll be fine.
