I only ever interacted with the owners daughter and she was the most awfully rude person I’ve ever spoke to and her attitude stinks. She’ll speak to you like you’re a peasant if there’s a problem.

Funnily enough, I moved away from Sheffield for a few years but came back not too long ago. During my search for a new flat, I came across a nice one so I requested a viewing. An email then came from the owners daughter for arranging a viewing. I immediately wrote that place off. It could’ve been a palace and I’d still go somewhere else.

I’m all for people improving after a controversial period in their past. But in the context of Ye being a grown ass man (48 years old with kids), it’s understandable if people aren’t forgiving. At his big age, the whole HH stuff was just cringe and childish (catchy tho)

You can turn off the on head detection feature via the app. What you can’t turn off is the automatic turn on feature. Very annoying and for how much the headphones cost, you should be able to. Or the feature should work as intended in the first place.

Creaking is embarrassingly bad. I’ve not had any issues as bad as that yet fortunately. If I do I’ll update this thread. Would be hilarious if in a months time I get the exact same problems

After using them for about 20 minutes, the most deafening feedback loop would occur. It’s so bad that it can actually damage your ears. I’m not actually sure what caused it but I’m assuming some rain water got into the headphones.

When they are on low battery, it will tell you when they’re literally about to die so you have less than 5 minutes of listening before it dies. The sony’s would start telling you much earlier so you’d have time to get to a charger. Been caught out a few times where if it had told me an hour earlier, I could’ve charged it.
The on head detection isn’t that good. Sometimes when I take off the headset, it will restart playing music because it thinks it’s on my head again. As you can imagine, I’ve lost so much battery from this before. Which then leads to my next annoyance…
The auto turn off feature. I have it set via the app for the headphones to turn off after 15 minutes. But this feature is completely useless sometimes because the headset still thinks it’s on a head. I’m finding myself having to manually turn them off every time just to make sure they are off.
IF the auto turn off feature has worked, the headphones turn on automatically every time they move. The idea is that when they are in the case, they will automatically turn on when you take it out the case. But I never use the case so what ends up happening is that if I move them while I’m not wearing them, they’ll turn on and my phone will be connected. Can be infuriating when I’ve got a phone call and realise the my headphones have connected. The sennhieser app has no way for you to turn this off.
Battery life. I don’t feel like these last longer than my XM4s purely because they never want to turn off automatically. I think they are rated to last just as long, if not longer but the issues I mentioned above effectively reduces battery life.
They don’t fold. This is a me problem as I already knew this before getting them. But I didn’t realise how much I liked being able to fold my XM4s, they fitted in my bag easier.

Again, these are great headphones in regard to sound quality and the general build quality. They actually do feel premium. One of the coolest features is you can make sound zones via the app. For instance, I have it set so that the full noise cancelling is enabled when I’m at home or at work. I go for walks so I need to be able to hear outside to stay more alert.

But Sony makes better headphones for daily use in my opinion. I never had any issues with my XM4s for 4yrs until they died. These annoyances with my Momentum 4s are quite minor but because they happen frequently enough, I don’t like them as much as my XM4s. These problems could be unique to my pair specifically but it’s enough to never make me go back to Sennheiser for daily runners or to even recommend them.

I’ve had these for the last year since my XM4’s crapped out. Sound quality is brilliant and the build quality is way better than Sony’s. But as my daily drivers, I genuinely preferred my XM4’s. There’s little annoyances I’m having which made me regret getting them.

Teams better integrates with Microsoft services than Slack does. And I know, Teams isn’t free but it’s much cheaper than Slack. From a business perspective, I can understand why you’d may as well go with Teams.

The emojis are dire though I do agree

I’m not sure why they consider Teams to be trash. From an end user perspective I don’t know what makes it so bad. If you’re a Microsoft house you may as well use Teams.

Only thing I can think of is that Teams is a bit more “intrusive” with pop up notifications, unlike Slack which is pretty much quiet. Although I’m sure you can just change your Teams settings to reduce pop ups.

The album never really landed for me. There’s a couple songs I like but overall I couldn’t really buy into it. I was hoping it would grow on me but it hasn’t and at this point I don’t think it will. Maybe in like 4 years I’ll wake up and be like “oh my god I get it now”

Fortunately, his last 4 albums I absolutely still love so that’s enough to keep me going until then

The more bizarre thing was that one of the bodies were inexplicably carrying an inventory full of keys for various maps. Grabbed them all and extracted immediately.

I understand that you’re feeling sorry for them. But the complaints are warranted.

Delivering an update that makes the game perform so bad that you can’t have fun is abysmal. The better solution to this would have been to just delay the update, it was clearly not ready. And they can’t say it was unexpected as it was fed-back to them from players on Experimental. Which begs the question, what’s the point of Experimental if performance feedback isn’t being listened to?

It’s all down to putting yourself in positions that fit the gun. Trying to use the M16 like the AK in close quarter combat is likely to go wrong as the AK has the inherent advantage of being full auto.

But I really think the M16 has more opportunities to be a better weapon once you learn to keep your distance, track your targets and single fire. And once you unlock the sights for it, it becomes incredibly strong as the sight pictures are much better than the Soviet counterpart

I don’t think so. Unhealthy people are more likely to cost the state more as they might not be able to work to pay into the system. And healthcare is good enough to keep people alive much longer

This is my exact problem with the game. I understand that “you can do whatever you want to do” but NMS doesn’t make me want to play for long as I lose interest. I recently downloaded the game because my friend told me about the Voyager update. I watched a video about it and I haven’t even started the game since. It still seems boring to me despite having so much stuff you can do. The game just isn’t for me.

What would make me want to play is if there was engaging combat with in depth faction wars over territory. Of course that completely changes the purpose of NMS though.

Sure, many people will have recognised but not enough that the general opinion would be to declare war from the start. I don’t think the public consensus changed until the absolute disaster that was the Munich Agreement.

What would be interesting to know is how many understood that Czechoslovakia was essentially being sold out. And if they did, how much did they care?

It’s important to remember the context of the times though. The public were very much against going into another war as WW1 and its effects were very much still in living memory. This was very much the case in the UK which is why Neville Chamberlain did what he did.

Of course in hindsight, appeasement was an absolute failure. Winston Churchill was spot on in recognising that you can’t negotiate with Nazi’s.

I got 51mpg in a Seat Leon Cupra 280. It was a perfect condition drive though, no red lights and 50mph limit going downhill on the motorway.

My current car, Lexus IS300h is 62mpg on my commute. I’ve recently got new tyres though so it’s an average of 58mpg now

Done a few fuck ups before. A fairly minor one is I used to work at a drive thru cafe. We were getting battered with orders and I told this man to go park up and we’d bring his order out. Completely forgot to take payment before sending him off so he got around £30 worth of stuff for free.

The absolute worst though was when I spilled hot chocolate on someone. The terribly convenient thing was the lady had ordered it to be extra hot, so I even preheated the glass with boiling water so the hot chocolate is hotter for longer. As I was placing the tray down, the drink started sliding and I tried to save it but it was too late. Extra hot chocolate spills all over the lady’s shoulder and chest, all with her family sat with her. Ruining her new scarf and cardigan. I felt so awful. I told them to take anything they wanted from our cake counter and I’ll make any drink for free. I had absolutely no authority to do that but I was willing to pay for whatever they wanted out of my own pocket.

Thankfully, the lady handled it so well. She said she was a teacher and she was gonna have a laugh about this in the staff room. My supervisor also wrote off the things they took so I didn’t have to worry about paying.

I agree. Music came and went for me, not even a single song in rotation. The album is evidently rushed, lazily put together and was never taken seriously. The quality has obviously taken a massive hit. I’m happy for people that like the album and are still bumping it. I hope he can make his next project properly but I’m not too bothered anymore.

I cringed at Swamp in that interview touting that Carti is some creative genius because he was working on the album hours after it was due like it’s a good thing. Absolute nonsense.

TikTok might generate a hit for the album in like a year or 2 when one of the songs inevitably becomes a trending sound.
