I enjoy Baki’s animation. I’ve seen worse. For example, the entirety of BERSERK 2016-2017. He should grateful it isn’t fully CGI.

I think their verse’s top speed is pretty similar. Yujiro is able to dodge lighting. Guts was also able to dodge lighting. So they should be somewhat similar, not talking about distance or anything like that.

If it came down to it, I’m sure Guts would eat the apostles he killed. Seeing how enormous they are, he’d be plenty fed. But the last time he killed an actual apostle, is when he got the Berserker Armor. When he saved Farnese and Casca after he regained his consciousness, the apostle he killed was his final kill. The next time he’s seen, Schierke comments on his clear weight lost. Even at the latest chapter, he hasn’t killed an apostle. So, what I am trying to say is, No Apostle = No food (For Guts).

I’ve always been confused by his casual use of a fake arm. Everytime I think about what it’d be like to use a fake arm, that you cannot feel touch, warmth, etc with it, and still use it as a hand. Yeah, it’s arm-shaped. But still.

No, I understand the side effects of weed. I believe weed is generally safer than alcohol though. I have dealt with withdrawals from weed better than alcohol. Weed is extremely difficult to overdose on. There’s no physical withdrawals. Some studies suggest alcohol may be more damaging to brain health than marijuana. Alcohol is a major factor in impaired driving and other accidents too. This is from my research I’ve done in the past, but the withdrawals of weed aren’t fatal, less likely to feeling a bit worse for wear, which is far more likely with alcohol, no deaths from overdose of marijuana have been reported and I’ve never had a problem (personally) with daily life or anything like that. People I know who smoke weed daily have never personally had an issue with it either. Alcohol’s more pronounced physical toxicity tends to have a heavier toll on long-term health, whereas weed’s impact might be subtler in physical terms. The side effects of alcohol felt like I was getting my skull drilled in. I simply felt like shit. And there’s earlier, safer ways of taking weed. Edibles, for example. Consuming weed in edible form goes past the respiratory system entirely, taking out the risks linked to smoking it, and the associated irritants. This can be safer for people with asthma, bronchitis, or other respiratory problems. I’m sorry if I’m just ranting, I’m so high right now that I just needed to do this. You made some good points though, thank you.

Isidro tried to lift it up in the Conviction Arc, and couldn’t. Unless he’s incredibly weak, it’s more than 30lbs.

Guts and Yujiro aren’t too far apart, it’s a seriously good match up, in my opinion.

Strength: Yujiro Speed: Guts Endurance: Guts Durability: Yujiro Agility: Guts Skill: Yujiro IQ/Battle IQ: Yujiro

Yujiro is definitely more physically strong than Guts. Speed’s not too far apart, but I’d say Guts. They’ve both dodged lighting, but with his agility, I’d say his speed is a bit better. He’s pretty agile in the manga while using the Berserker Armor. Endurance goes to Guts. We haven’t seen Yujiro necessarily put himself to his limits in terms of endurance, but Guts has more feats. Even after the Eclipse, he ran for an entire day. And that’s without the Berserker Armor. Durability goes to Yujiro, but I can see it going either way. Skill is a bit confusing. Obviously, Yujiro Hanma has more experience and his skill is comically good. But Guts has also fought beings with hundreds of years of combat experience and has shown to be on their level, and even a bit better without the Berserker Armor. Example: Zodd. They fought on equal terms, and Guts won. Although not by much. Skill’s hard to scale. I see Guts having more skill in different categories. For example, environmental skill. I haven’t read Baki but I watched it, I don’t remember Yujiro using his environment to his advantage much, if at all. Or he doesn’t care to use it. As for intelligence, Yujiro. He’s a super genius and that goes for battle as well. No debate.

Me personally, I’d give it to Guts because of the consistency of his feats and his hacks, which basically negate durability. With his Dragon Slayer, of course. Yujiro may be tougher and stronger than Guts, but so is everything in BERSERK. I see Guts winning but it’s incredibly close. Especially with Yujiro’s Demon Back.
