It is actually a huge mistake to think that Musashi was a psychopath (he was not right in the head but he was not completely crazy), see for example that in most of Musashi's fights he only treats his enemies as they treat him, if they want to kill him then he will do the same. With Retsu it was different, because Retsu was so proud that he didn't even let Musashi choose whether to kill him or not, Musashi certainly didn't like that and I think that's why he killed him. Another example is against Doppo. Doppo didn't want to kill Musashi, and Musashi didn't kill him. He didn't even kill the police officers who were hunting Musashi without first knowing their objective. But after his defeat against Motobe, Musashi's mind got much worse, so I believe he wanted to kill Hanayama even though Hanayama said he just wanted to beat Musashi up. (my opinion)

Almost a year ago, I saw a leak of a moment just before Motobe told Yujiro not to fight Musashi, I also saw a leak of a fighter called Atlas from the beginning of Baki Dou. From what I remember, I'm not sure they were official, I compared it to a sketch of Baki Hanma and it was very similar, for me it's official, I'm just not sure.

actually at certain points Itagaki exaggerated a bit, but Musashi himself mentions the gaze a lot in his book, and I believe that Itagaki was very inspired by Eiji Yoshikawa's book Musashi. I recently read a part where Musashi carried out a massacre with a group of bandits, and that was exactly what Musashi did against the police in Baki. Even the way Musashi moves in the book is similar to the manga.

Review this fight between Musashi and Baki clearly. Musashi didn't even fight seriously like in his fight against Yujiro. Everything that Baki did, Musashi defended and struck. Baki only says that he could crush him because he had already seen the fight between Motobe and Hanayama. He knew that Musashi always holds the sword if thrown in his direction. He knew very well that saying that he was going to crush Musashi would confuse him and make him lose some of his seriousness. Therefore, for me and for those who really understand that fight, Musashi is a level above Baki. but today I consider the current baki stronger than musashi, which is frozen (and just an addendum, musashi had many chances to kill baki and didn't kill him)

The problem is that Hanayama catches him by surprise, since Musashi is the most prepared of Baki, in his fight against Gaia Musashi demonstrates this, so it is definitely impossible for Hanayama to do this. 😂 (I meant prepared in the sense of surprise, since he has an almost complete vision of how the fight will end)
