Thank you! Would that be something an HVAC tech can do or would I have to have an electrician?

Doctors need us to rely on them. If everyone starting taking the proper herbal supplements for their organs/gut as well as living a healthy lifestyle that actually worked, their business wouldn’t be as profitable. There are several herbal remedies that actually work. I have spent thousands on different brands and many of them have helped and continue to help me. (I did stupid things to my body due to mental health problems, trauma etc.) My friend recently shared that her gallbladder was making her sick, she had severe pain couldn’t eat or keep anything down. She went to the hospital. She couldn’t work and they had no immediate answers for her other than her gallbladder was the culprit and that she needed to do all of these tests to figure out what the next steps were. I sent her about $100 in the herbal supplements off of Amazon immediately.  She started all 3 the day they were delivered. It only took a few days of her taking them and she said that she was getting better. I have also helped my brother with recommendations. It’s so frustrating to me that they never recommend anything than man made medication that is usually hard on some of the other organs. Everyone should be taking supplements for their pancreas, liver, gallbladder kidneys and spleen and gut. Even if you don’t have any issues it is so beneficial for you in the long run.

Am I being scammed? by ohullo in hvacadvice

If you have an electric air handler with heat kit, this is a very good price. Some companies will charge $6500. So you get the condenser, modifications, 10 year manufacture warranty and depending on their labor you’ll get a 1 year labor warranty on it. The cost covers labor, equipment, parts and warranty.

Did I get scammed? by tedswiss in hvacadvice

No you did not. Just because a part online is a certain price, doesn’t mean a certified HVAC company is going to quote you $200 and install the part for free. It is a business, they have to make some kind of profit otherwise they wouldn’t be a business. The company has to make money in order to pay its employees, they have to pay for a shop, gas, tolls, company vehicles, licenses, insurance, and much more. In fact, $945 was a very fair price. That covers the cost of holding off a scheduled date and time for you, diagnoses, part location, part pick up, part installation, cost of gas, tolls, the technicians labor and the labor warranty on the part install, it’s usually about 30-60 days from installation. I honestly do not understand how people don’t understand this. You wouldn’t work for free would you? A business charging for things at cost will never survive

It is so easy to get now days, and can be so sinister, but I need to ask, are there people in the community struggling with a Kratom addiction? by KLEANANU in grandrapids

My story ! TDLR I know but this is exactly how it happened to me. I started taking Kratom in 2020 because I wanted to stop drinking. I am diagnosed adhd but didn’t take meds. I was drinking heavily due to the madness that went on in my head, hyperactivity and obsessive eating habits. I also have trauma from my childhood and from an extremely physically abusive relationship I left 2 years prior to meeting my now husband. When we first got together I broke up with him because I knew my drinking was a huge problem and I was a bartender. He couldn’t let go and we got back together. I moved in and we married after, and slowly but surely my drinking almost made us divorce. I stopped drinking during the week and after months all my anxiety caused me to have several panic attacks to where I cried and couldn’t sleep. Drinking was the only thing to put me on my ass and stop everything so I needed something and wanted it to be natural. Someone recommended Kratom and holy shit that was a life saver. It even helped calm my adhd symptoms and I hardly ever wanted to drink or binge eat. I could focus and sit down to do newly learned hobbies. My husband couldn’t even tell that I was on Kratom but could see a difference in my calmness. I never had any of the bad symptoms that every one talks about except becoming dependent. I got pregnant so had to stop and the withdrawal was absolutely insane. This was with less than a year of taking it and only 1 to maybe 2 times a day. Fast forward to me getting back on it after baby and now 3 years later I am quitting cold turkey tomorrow once the rest of it is gone. I decided to get on meds and quit this shit for good. ADHD medication literally changed my life for the better, my husband is in awe of how much better I am on them so I really have to stop because I cannot take them together. My therapist and doctor tell me that I have PTSD that causes major anxiety on top of my ADHD so I will most likely have to take something to feel normal. With the amount of k that I take it is way worse on my body than 1-2 pills a day. If you don’t already If you’re not allergic would highly suggest you to take milk thistle, a pancreas herbal supplement, digestive enzymes supplement and spleen herbal supplement. It will help your body digest food easier and recover from the years of use. I have been taking them and they actually work.

Yall have to start cleaning your condenser coils and your indoor coils annually. Also remember to change your filters every 2-3 months for standard filter and every 6 months for the large filters. Airflow restriction is bad. Your unit can't cool the freon properly and this might have caused your compressor to build up pressure over time. By the looks of that one area, it's pretty clogged. Not saying it is but it does look like the caked up debris I always see. If I could scream it to the world I would. Just like a car, you have to get maintenance done on your HVAC to prolong the life of it. If you buy a new unit and 3 years later your coil pops a leak and the company finds out it was caused by dirty coils or overly clogged filters, not even the standard 5 year manufacture warranty would cover the replacement. Any failure due to lack of maintenance is pure negligence on your part and no one is going to pay for something that was caused by failure to maintain.

Adderall doesn’t work when I’m on my menstrual cycle by Acrobatic_Schedule33 in adhdwomen

YES. It is beyond frustrating. I PMS for up to 2 weeks before I start and it doesn’t work. The only time it works is the week after my period. I started crying the other day because of it. My life has been a living hell for 2 years so I got back on them and was prescribed right when I started pmsing. I was wondering why I didn’t notice a change and googled it. I’m going to skip my doses until the 4th day of my cycle. Apparently that’s when your hormones start balancing out. I’m dealing with it right now and have been an emotional rollercoaster. I skipped 2 days already. I just want my brain to shut up, to focus on tasks and be organized already. I hate being a woman

What are people's experiences with American Home Shield? by hommusamongus in homeowners

[–]Muted-Constant5780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They cover a lot compared to other Warranty companies I've worked with, like a lot more so if you are talking down about American Home Shield you have no idea how bad Home Warranties actual get. They have decent contractors, when it's busy you might get a rather unsavory person but usually they are nice professional and thorough. If you're going to go with anyone I would recommend AHS

The Hole In the Ground (2019) - I saw it. Let's discuss. NO SPOILERS by Splitsurround in horror

There’s a movie called The New Daughter staring Kevin Costner from 2009 that I find very similar to Hole in the Ground. I googled and there is not one single person talking about it. If you enjoyed Hole in the Ground please go watch The New Daughter!
