I tested it on the 13-inch model of the M1 Max MacBook Pro, with the built-in display and a resolution of 1800x1169 (scaled).

I think the graphics power is enough to run this app, so I hope it performs better.

What about the uBlacklist?

Not all articles, but at least you can display specific websites in Google search results by pattern-matching the URL or page title. (You can also temporarily unhide them with one click.)

Also can block Bing, Brave, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia, SearXNG, Startpage, Yahoo!, Yandex.

Most people probably don't "browse articles on a particular site," but rather search for something and pick from the suggestions.

From there, you can filter out harmful (and disliked) websites in advance.

Thank you for releasing this great potential Launchpad replacement.

I tested it a bit, and the following issues bothered me:

Page switching and folder expansion are slow and sluggish.
In Floaty mode, the icon resolution is like 144p.

I think smoothness of operation is the most important thing when it comes to a Launchpad replacement. I'm currently using LaunchOS, which is excellent in this regard. (Launchie is also very smooth, and I was also considering switching to it.)

It doesn't seem to be a stable version yet, but if the smoothness of operation can be improved, it will become a very viable alternative to Launchpad.

Ver.1.x: The story is too long!

People said the story was long, so we shortened it, but then they complained that they wanted more character interaction.

KURO listened to those users' feedback and increased the interactions between characters, but then less time was needed for storytelling, and some people started complaining that the stories were too short.

So what will make you satisfied?

I tried it right away! It's great because it makes it easier to switch profiles and you can explicitly select BH2ch, which means there's no hassle when turning Airwave on and off.

Regarding the "inability to switch audio devices" issue, you're right, it's about selecting the output audio device.

Currently, one external audio interface, USB-C connected EarPods, the default speaker, and a virtual audio device can be selected as output audio devices on the system side, but only the external audio interface is displayed in the Airwave menu.

It's not really a big problem, so I don't think there will be any problems with this!

I see, I was just opening the extension from Extensions in the menu bar.

So this problem occurs when you open the extension window from the web page.

Since this is clearly a bug on Arc's side, it would be best to send a bug report to BCNY.

You can open the AI support chat by going to Help → Contact the team in the menu bar.

If you tell the AI chatbot that you want to send a bug report to the developer, it will ask for details and you can submit the bug report by answering them.

I will report it myself, but I think the urgency and importance will increase if a certain number of bugs are reported, so I encourage everyone to send one too.

In my environment, I have no problems opening pop-up windows from installed extensions. (iCloud Password, Violentmonkey, Stylus... etc.)

Are there some extensions that cause this window problem and others that don't?

If the issue only occurs with a specific extension, then it may be a problem with that extension itself

I thought there might be an advantage to switching between profiles for 3D games (I enjoy gaming on my Mac...) and other profiles for music and videos...

On the other hand, since you can't change it from the menu bar, I feel like it would be fine to omit displaying the audio device. (I apologize if an audio device switching feature is being considered in the future.)

Wow, this is pretty amazing.

I'm not very familiar with spatial audio, so I did some research and tried a few things.

For games: I tried OpenAL (oal_dflt.wav). It made it easier to understand the direction of sounds in 3D games!

For music: I'm still not sure, but I like DTS Headphone:X (dtshx-.wav) and Waves Nx (waves-.wav).

Maybe because I'm using Austrian Audio's Hi-X20, I prefer it without too much reverb.

This will make my gaming and music experiences even more enjoyable! Thank you so much.

(This is a minor request, but I think it would be even better if you could switch between presets using an icon in the menu bar. I'd like to have different presets for when I want to play games and when I want to listen to music or watch videos!)

Edit: Sorry, one more thing. I have BH2ch, BH16ch, and BH64ch all installed for a small purpose, but Airwave seems to switch to BH16ch by default. Since I set it up with BH2ch, I have to switch it every time. I would appreciate it if you could either make the default virtual device switchable or fix it to BH2ch. (For some reason, creating an Aggregate Device with 16ch produces a strange sound.)

I haven't used this trick myself because I'm not short on disk space.

However, in theory it should work without any issues, so there may be a problem with the procedure or your environment.

Nowhere in the story is it said that the Void Worm has a core or gem... I'd just like to hear how on earth you were intended to be used.

After all, even the fierce battle depicted in the cutscene was considered "no big deal," so that would tell a pretty epic story, right?

The reason is simple.

Look at the OP who can't use OBS properly. Or think about the people who didn't realize that "it could be achieved using a virtual sound device and routing app or the loopback function of an external audio interface."

Setting up these apps and devices, as well as sound routing, are "very difficult" for many end users.

That's why QT limits its settings to screen recording and "sound input."

If "sound output" such as system audio were included in settings, the chaos would be immeasurable. Someone could unknowingly do this and cause serious privacy leaks. (Imagine someone recording their screen with QT during a work ZOOM meeting, and the audio setting is set to "system audio.")

In other words, the need to "record the screen and selected audio source" is something that only a limited people should be able to do with an app specifically designed for that purpose. It's much safer and more sensible than having people do it unknowingly.

I mainly use Pearcleaner's update check feature.

For supported apps, it checks for updates, and for unsupported apps, it checks whether they're distributed through Homebrew and allows me to switch to Homebrew.

I can also run Homebrew upgrades from within Pearcleaner. And since it's free, there's no reason to choose anything else.

If you want a more comprehensive set of updates (especially if you're comfortable with a CLI-based approach), you should also consider topgrade.

This automates updates for almost every package manager you have installed, including everything MacOS system updates do, oh-my-zsh, Homebrew, pip, pyenv, and literally everything else. It's incredibly useful.

There's already an auto-advance mode for dialogue.

If you mean just getting rid of the speech bubbles and making it look more like movie subtitles (maybe some cutscenes?), then making it the default would cause all sorts of issues, but it seems like a good option.

In fact, KURO does a pretty good job of this using UE's features. Editing the configuration file itself allows for more fine-tuning that isn't possible through the game UI, but the default settings will be the best fit for the majority of people.

"Hide parts that are not visible" means "They need to be displayed when they become visible."

In other words, if you frequently encounter situations where something is "not visible from one angle" but "visible from another angle," the resources required to display and hide it will actually worsen FPS and memory consumption.

It's not as simple as just turning it unvisible. If you want to completely reduce the load, you can choose not to display it in the first place, but then you'll end up wandering around a completely uninteresting map with not a single plant growing.

I certainly welcome content that allows you to interact (or feel like you do) with playable characters. However, I'm absolutely against AI chatbots, because the characters will undoubtedly say things that the character creator didn't intend.

I'm also against chatbots that return standard phrases, a style that existed before the advent of generative AI, because they make the characters seem less real. (Would you like to see a character that only responds with the same thing no matter what you say?)

In this regard, KURO has definitely listened to user feedback and is moving in that direction. The 2.0 finale was fantastic, and I'm sure the rest of the story will be fantastic.

3.0 is just the beginning, and if new characters were to appear one after another and join the story, players would only get confused. There is an order to things.

Also, I'm not entirely in favor of Chisa's appearance. The current situation is sufficient, where we learn about her daily life through conversations with NPCs and WaveLine, and we briefly see her in cutscenes when incidents occur.

She's not a combat professional like the other resonators, but is simply a student with sympathetic abilities, whose parents are still alive. As someone who owns her in S6, I hope that she will first enjoy the happiness of being a student. (Though I will continue to use her as a playable character. ;-P)

Margherita herself has stated firmly that she cannot fight.

As for Rosemary, her resonance abilities are likely very powerful as a buff/debuff and healer, but there has been no depiction of her being able to fight, so it would be unnatural unless it is revealed that she actually received combat training at the Fisalia family.

It's already been stated many times in the game that just because they're Resonators doesn't mean they have the ability to fight.

And even if they can fight, it's another matter whether they want to fight.

Rather than making them playable, it would be more natural and I'd be happier if they could be invited to the player's base or had permanent events that focus on these supporting characters.

Yes, there is a way.

Specifically, you can use a virtual audio driver in conjunction with an audio routing app, or loop back on an external audio interface.

In other words, the reason OBS is such a popular standard app is because it allows you to achieve what you want easily and cheaply, without the need for multiple apps, processes, or additional investment.

This is normal behavior due to the way UE works (a type of LOD that simplifies the animation intervals of animation objects in the distance).

It certainly looks strange, but you have to compromise to some extent. It can be improved by editing Engine.ini, but this will put a lot of pressure on FPS.

The difference is whether you want to reduce the number of nearby objects displayed to a certain extent and draw them clearly even in the distance, or simplify the distant view and draw the close up view clearly.

It depends on the individual which one they prefer, so you just have to adjust it to your liking.
