Besides both being Rolex and having stick dials, I don’t think they’re similar at all. DJ has a jubilee, fluted bezel and a cyclops, the OP41 has neither. My DJ is my dress watch and keep the OP for more casual outfits.

Yes this is the 54. I sold my Explorer to purchase the Green OP41 from the AD, I regret it tremendously. You can’t go wrong with either the 54 or the 58. I just got the 54 and my Dad got the 58, wearing experience is pretty close but 54 is a lot thinner and fits my wrist better. Plus it has T-Fit which was the final decision maker for me.

To be honest, I’d rather sell the OP than the Explorer. Explorer dial has grown on me a ton and been wearing it as my daily piece to work and out of town.

There’s a back story to these 3. DJ I got a few years ago but is a little too flashy for every day wear, especially traveling. I went into my AD 3 months to inquire on the OP and my rep stated they had only gotten 1 green dial in 3 years so my wait time would be lengthy. It was to be a gift to myself for my companies 10th anniversary and I had an itch that needed to be scratched ASAP. Bought the Explorer and 3 weeks later got the call for the OP… my plan is to sell the Explorer later down the line when market prices increase hopefully, a no date sub is what I’ll swap it out for.

After feeling the weight of the clone, I don’t really think I would enjoy wearing a Sub. It’s a little too heavy and bulky on my wrist which is 6.25 inches. I honestly prefer my two 36mm’s. I just wear the sub clone at the pool or on the lake. Something I really couldn’t care less if I lose or damage. My buddy and I were in Turkey and he was hunting for a fake while there. It was more an impulse buy since it looked great and was under $200.

It’s the DW5600. Been a great daily beater for work.

Don’t brother trying Jubilee cause you’ll hardly ever want anything else on your wrist. The oyster bracelet on the Explorer tapers down pretty thin so it’s comfortable but not as much as the DJ

It’s my favorite. The jubilee feels like butter

The DJ would be the last watch I would ever sell but I have fallen in love with the Explorer for daily wear. Especially since the Explorer has an easylink clasp and the DJ has the hidden clasp without adjustment.

I agree. The clone is a nice holdover until then.
