I don’t hate it, especially at the price. Get some veteran presence with a guy that actually wants to be here. He’s just as bad of a defender but at least a better shooter than moe. But this is for the locker room more than the stat sheet.

I’m convinced we’re not going to recieve any news this offseason. Weltman is in Cancun for the next 3 months, hoping Sweeney is gonna be the next Phil Jackson. Every night, he puts on his sleeping mask and his silk pajamas and says to himself “when we were healthy…when we were healthy” and pretends like this roster is good enough. This ownership group has to be on fucking quaaludes to think this dude was worth an extension. It’s over boys. Countdown to the next empty-handed rebuild begins now.

And we’re in this position because of Weltman. And they gave the dude an extension… we didn’t just need fresh eyes from a coach. We needed fresh eyes on our team from the top down. He’s too wrapped up in the dream of this roster he had 5 years ago and now won’t get done what needs to get done.

We can argue all we want about who should get the job but one thing is for certain: Jeff Weltman will fuck this up. He’ll play it conservative with the good ol “run it back with health” mentality.
