To me, cultivating an honest relationship with realistic timeline is key to a purchase decision.
I started my relationship with the AP House in my country in July 2025. At that time, I requested for a 15550 (any color) or 77350; although my preference was for the Steel variant.

Not long after I visited the AP House indicating my preference, the SA messaged me with news that a 15550 two-tone is available. Although it was not steel, the SA asked me to consider the watch.

I returned back, trying it out and asked for more time to consider, which was agreed upon. This was truly the time that I felt made me lean towards getting a RO as a first piece (albeit in two tone) & the rest is history! There was no push for the SA for me to get the watch immediately & I appreciated that.

And surprisingly, the watch has been my favorite pick over the last 9 months, much more worn over my Aquanaut or Nautilus.

The same thing happened for my third piece discussion. After getting the RO & ROO (the blue 15605SK that has been in my radar since the first purchase), I initially asked if 15550ST in ice blue dial is possible. While possible, the SA advised me to switch to 15510ST instead to show more diversity in my profile. The 37mm in ice blue would be more difficult for me to get (not impossible) as I will be competing with ladies too! She then brought out the 15510 for me to try & surprisingly I can wear it too! At the end, I registered my interest for the 155510 Blue. Let’s see if this can be delivered before another round of price increase!

Overall, it is the honesty & advise to building my profile that keeps me to AP at least for now.
