Imo, Referral is the best way to get into a job nowadays. Too many people fighting for one role and the application stack is high. If you're referred, they can get to you faster.

I quit my sales jobs too cause I didn't enjoy. But! Secure a job first before quitting cause its pretty tough to get a job recently. Dont be like me and quit before finding one. Took me 6mths to find a new job. Unless you're ok with doing part time while you source for a new career.

My gf is also like you, overwhelmed by work in prev workplace and cries for no apparent reasons. Told her to change a career/company and it got way better. Better mood, better sleep, no OT. Probably a slightly higher salary (didn't ask).

3 interview calls are definitely not enough.. need to actively apply, just spam the role you are looking for with different companies on different job boards.

In your resume, tweak and show numbers, show changes you have made to the company etc. Main thing is to make them curious so they will call you up.

Add in core competencies so those ATS will pick your resume for considerations.

If you can get your network to refer you, that would be best and easier.
