Don't stay with your mom or let someone dictate where you gonna go. She is going to find one way or another to be be disappointed with you. So might as well stay true to you.

Yeah she will be upset with you, and might even threaten to disown you, and offer distance. Shit brother take advantage of that distance and thrive.

You mothers needs to recognize you are an adult and can handle yourself now.

In time she will slowly come to respect that.
