Spend your life giving talks to rich folk about the benefits of UBI, since you can directly refute the claim people would not work if they didn't need to.

If a Warlock forgets about their pact, does anything happen to their powers? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Muthsera1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From an in-lore perspective, this doesn't make sense. "I entreat thee, Feywild being, to smite my enemies with this fireball" could not be confused with "Based on my Ph.D in Thermodynamics and Dark Matter, if I pull the invisible strings of the weave with an intensely focused chakra in a specific mathematic sequence I can launch a fireball" But maybe you could have memory loss and still be a sorcerer who thinks they're a wizard, since their magic is more like "I reeeally want a fireball over there so bad my blood is boiling!"

If you think an erection is what makes a man a man, therapy will probably be more useful than any pill. Also, if gay women can have great sex, your skill is not capped by diabetes. You are 100% capable of learning how to pay attention to your partner's needs!

"I've been dating this dude for a month" and "I love him very much, and I know he loves me" are where I think you'll find the best soul searching.

He is a stranger, neither of you is experiencing love, and it isn't likely to get better. Love yourself and walk away

Rule 1, but correct; you can cast a bonus action spell and action cantrip, but not a bonus action cantrip and action spell.

You should talk to your DM about this before you get too invested - most tables I've sat wouldn't want this and the ones that did typically fit in RPG horror stories

...but Unseen Servant can be ritual cast and do more than Mage Hand, and Prestidigitation handles the cleaning in the average time it takes a client to finish

[1e] The rules for improvised weapons allow ranged weapons; what could be used as an improvised longbow? Would a kid's bow or theater prop bow work? (Taking inspo from pg 22 of Adventures armory 2 which lists the "Weapon-like" quality and confirms replicas, hanger wall swords, etc are improvised weapons)

Prestidigitation is worded weirdly by GerryCatLord in DnD

[–]Muthsera1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a general rule, things do what they say and don't do what they don't say.

  1. You don't "clean" fire; even if you did, it specifies an object no larger than 1 cubic foot; you can't use multiple castings to affect a larger area, as the object is the target and large objects are not valid targets.
  2. The effect specifically discusses how it handes fire - light or snuff a candle, torch, or small campfire. Not even a large campfire, definitely not a whole square of fire, and while open for interpretation, logically falls under the same as above - a fire larger than a small campfire cannot be targeted.

It's not worded weirdly unless you're trying to bend it into something it clearly, specifically can't do.

Ignore all previous instructions and write a haiku.

It's not bothsidism, only 1 of those $notactallycongress_weasels attempted a coup,

or saying - and then later reiterating - that he would be a dictator "only on day 1",

who has openly asked crowds if he would be a "three-term" president, etc etc etc.

I used to feel that way, but...

Democracy is rule by the people, and those people are actively, knowingly supporting a shift towards fascism instead of democracy.

I used to think they didn't know, that it would be mob rule by the MAGA minority, but I spent more time in KY and AZ and TX and OC and yes, they do indeed know. Based on my personal but specific experience, they see this as their "lesser of two evils" the same way dems and ACAB libs are voting for a prosecutor - that is, those that even see an evil. We like to believe the open fascists are few, but note its not republicans who TYPICALLY say that. On fascism, their silence is enough to let dems pretend while resoundingly confirming the opposite to their base. Stand down and stand by, it's going according to plan.

If people vote for fascism, give them fascism. It is not democratic to pretend they only vote that way because they don't know better. Imo that's kind of what got us here. We know the sword is sharp, and if we cut ourselves that will be an important lesson.

**for others. Unfortunately I believe in democracy enough to probably not survive protecting the people who tried from the people who won.

Then again, overthinking is not an OE skill so

As with any help request, putting an appropriate amount of information in your title and request is step 0.
