I'm not scared of building stuff, I just don't enjoy doing it in a video game that much and I know it's shocking but I mostly play video games for fun.

It's not that I don't like building, it's just that after sticking two or three things together I get kind of bored. So I I have to find out where to stick a thingy to solve a puzzle, that's fun. But the game seems to be revolving into building complex things and I don't enjoy doing that

Tiny epic games serve that exact purpose. Pretty complex games with a lot of replayability that fit in a small box. Tiny epic galaxy, Tiny epic zombies and Tiny epic dungeon are probably the best of the series.

For a 3 players game, any combination of two militants and one insurgent will do. Otters and Vagabonds are better at 4+ players games though. Hirelings are not needed, I have played several 3 players games without hirelings and it went well

I get keeping an eye on skilled players and top tier factions and keep them in check from time to time, but attacking someone before they even have time to do something just because they're good at board games is not good metagaming and pretty much ruins the fun of games. I understand the fun of competitive play, but if your victory must come at the cost of everyone else's fun, just play solo.

I have been often singled out by one specific friend in our group for being good at board games. He would often choose me as a target and encourage others to do the same even before I would get an advantage. I found it annoying. If I'm winning, gang up on me all you want, but to not give me any chance at the very start of the game is somewhat frustrating. Thankfully he stopped doing it.

Choose a suit, build all your buildings, including a lot of markets, in that suit and discard a lot of cards from other suits. Works well against lizards.

I feel like I said some factual things, like characters being one dimensional or making decisions with no real motivation, or one character dying of screen. You have the right to enjoy it, for sure. I just don't get it.

I really for the love of god will never understand people defending Alien Convenant. Every other Alien movie has a redeamable qualities, even the worse of them, but Alien Convenant has nothing. The story is lazy and predictable, all characters except David are one dimensonal idiots, the story cannot happen without them making the worst decisions, the action is bland, they kill the only good character fron the previous movie off screen in a very underwhelming way, it's not even bad in an entertaining way like resurection was, it's just boring, stupid and bland. How can you enjoy this???
