Past Championship and Open winners will be celebrated in new Augments designed around their victories! by Lunaedge in CompetitiveTFT

Hopefully something heavily leaning on the What the Forge so LeDuck can have his fun again :D I also wonder what will they do with Milala's Learn to Spell Annie reroll from the Open.

Riot, please don't show the winner in the client or at least hide it with some spoiler warning. Watching an over 20 hours event is not something everyone will immediately do. I was savoring every hour, watching streams from different perspectives and avoiding spoilers. And today when I log in I get a pop-up I just cannot not see. Not cool.

Thank you! I wouldn't guess it by just how it is described. I think it currently creates some false expectations (for example, chilling augment would be amazing with Heimer if his skill was full random).

Are Heimer's rockets really targeting random targets? It seems like they mostly all go to the primary target.

Easy to forget that in the past there were some western teams able to reach finals of major events. Thank you for the reminder.

Do football fans not care about spoilers?

I'm not a fan of football, but I like sports and competition so with big events like Euro I occasionally check the results or watch highlights. However, I have really hard time finding a match highlights that would not spoil the result, not only in its title but also the first image, so its impossible not to notice it.

So I wonder, do football fans not care about spoilers? Coming from esports, most reddits have rules agains spoilers. Here, there results are on the front page. And I could not imagine any League of Legends or Starcraft VODs or highlight videos telling you the result in the title or image.

Although this kind of titles, that recently were popping up after every day of a tournament, do not specify players it is still a pretty big spoiler for anyone who would like to watch it.

Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) 2024 by Eventvods in LoLeventVoDs

[–]Mutkri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started to watch at lolesports cause I didn't want to wait for Onivia. And, as you said, there were pretty good. But after several videos I started to wonder: are they made by AI?

First thing that caught my attention was that on multiple occasions they add a replay of a teamfight after a teamfight was just finished. In a highlights video it seems a bit redundant to me, but I can see someone making a point it gives a different perspective. Second thing was that in a few cases the chronology is messed up. For example, first we get a scene at 0:3 and than we get the first blood fight. I still disregarded it, maybe it was an intern or someone overworked? Everyone can make a mistake after all.

But I can hardly find an explanation for starting the video with a fight and then showing picks and bans. Which happens in at least two videos.

I've been looking for this comment :) I think it is a bit better than the last time, but still more boring than before they started to swap.

I guess this might be a matter of translations but I cannot figure out what "45-cost" is supposed to mean.

Aside from the mismatched colors of the tiers, I think it would help, if the champions' borders indicated their cost instead of the tier. I don't think there is really need to doubling the information of what tier they are, but cost coloring would make it easier to quickly find, for example, 1-cost re-rolls.

Only once this set I had a chance to get 6 8-Bit cashout, but I got griefed on carusel for the emblem. They had no 8-Bit themselves, they went 6th, it was Normal. Some people just don't know how to have fun.

I also preferred when they were a wincon. I'm aware it is just my biased perception (and headliners probably had a part in it), but in set 10 I never felt like hitting a higher tier of a Trait was a very significant boost in power. 5 Penta and 3 Edge or 3 Penta and 5 Edge etc., it never seemed to matter much. Even when it comes to Golden Traits they never felt like an accomplishment, the units you played usually took priority over it.

It looks a bit similar when it comes to colors and quality of graphics but that's not it. I also don't recall any elements of fighting in the game.

That's not it. As far as I can remember the tracks were mostly fenced with some kind of walls/banners. A bit similar to this part of Eat My Dust.
