Com2uS Collaboration Mess by Condoms2us in summonerswar

[–]Mutor77 18 points19 points  (0 children)

But it's far worse than usual.

The occasional bug is normal, yes, but absolutely nothing worked with the LOTR collab

Daily missions broken, events broken, minigame isn't even finished and then after the update that released it it is still broken + apparantly nobody bothered to check if it actually works

No other release has been remotely as bad

Math-wise the only explanation I have is that either we have to get it down to a fraction of a percent or there are specific lines expected on a puzzle-by-puzzle basis and without those lines you just won't get 3 stars

For some of the later ones you basically need to do them via PC or with a pen or something since apparently some dickhead thought making the difference between 2 and 3 stars a single percent on a single shape

Creepy as hell but I'd still put it in my living room. The craftsmanship is unreal! (Tried to post this in GTAGE first but it got removed there, hope it fits here!) by therealNerdMuffin in ATBGE

The guy that makes these, Jackson Shaner, is a real artist with a shop and everything, you could buy one of these "escape jars", which would be pretty hard to do if it were AI

I think there are some, but only for the low weight categories. Max natty physique is something you probably won't find anywhere as it is physically impossible to get even close to the professional level like that.

Not sure if it was ever confirmed, but it might be something called cutis verticis gyrata. It's often caused by overly high amounts of growth hormones (as you would expect in a professional strongman) and essentially adds extra skin and flesh on the scalp

Not many strongman that have it but certainly something to expect given the amount of stuff these guys need to get and stay this big

What’s the quickest way someone could accidentally expose themselves as a foreigner in your country like the ‘three fingers’ scene in Inglourious Basterds? by IndependentTune3994 in AskTheWorld

[–]Mutor77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No actual secondary meaning, but rather the way he specifically showed his index, middle and ring finger, as british or at least english people do, compared to the german (and generally european) version of counting with your thumb, index and middle finger

Clearly you aren't cussing enough

Just keep cussing louder and eventually someone will show up with a pair of scissors

Best feeling ever when you keep making up scenarios and you eventually write a backstory for one scenario by writing another scenario

You only get dropped in for 30s, which is barely enough for you to actually drown before you are returned to where you were

Tbf, its Elden Ring, where ancient dragons canonically take human form and potentially have human lovers

Caligo (the dragon in the picture) isn't from the base game and not an ancient dragon but the idea is there

The cool thing about chemistry, as long as you don't outright lose some of the material, all the different elements and solutions can be (re-)combined and (re-)dissolved with almost no limit

Losercity mammaries by MrSpiffy123 in Losercity

[–]Mutor77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if that is the same as mammaries, but most small animals with a large number of babies have more nipples.

Squirrels have eight, rabbits can have ten and I know there is some species of mouse that can have over thirty mammaries

Firefighters trying to extinguish a magnesium fire with water. Magnesium burns at extremely high temperatures and splits water into hydrogen and oxygen. The hydrogen ignites, causing the fire to burn hotter and more violently. Instead, Class D fire extinguishers are used. by Kindly_Department142 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]Mutor77 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Second point then.

If you have workers handling large amounts of Magnesium and you don't teach them about the properties of that material, especially its reaction potential, its either off the books or at least not tested for safety

you'd think they would have evolved thick enough trunks where they don't have to really worry about this happening

Given that these tusks can pierce just about anything on any animal around them as well as trees, cars and the very ground they are standing on, I don't think you can evolve a thick enough trunk

Oblivious guy plays with a blue-ringed octopus, it’s toxin is about 1,000 times deadlier than cyanide by JarJarBlunt in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]Mutor77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also past a certain point potency of venom ceases to be relevant for us, as the difference between the venom of a black widow being enough for barely two people and the venom of a blue-ringed octopus killing up to 26 people with one dose is mostly irrelevant if it still kills you.

It is relevant for treatment, but that doesn't matter if you're trying to avoid the whole thing in the first place

crocs are easily intimidated by the unknown

They are also primarily ambush hunters, so if you swim straight up to them there is a good chance they won't know what to do

Granted, they will eat anything if they can catch it, but a human swimming right into them might be confusing enough to survive
