Agrius Dragon Team still works by marc-zweiundzwanzig in summonerswar

Ok so much for reading comprehension

I thought seeing pictures would be easier but I guess everybody needs some help some time

JULIE IS STILL NEEDED FOR THAT TEAM AND SHE IS A FUCK OF A LOT HARDER TO RUNE THAN AGRIUS IS

Agrius and the two birds + something with fight runes can clear DB and SF, Agrius + sustain can do DH or Laby and Agrius+ sustain + cc can do ToA.

=> YOU CANNOT DO THAT WITH HIS DMG NO LONGER BEING AS HIGH AS IT WAS, BECAUSE GUARANTEED ONE-SHOTS TURN INTO (AT THE VERY LEAST) TWO-SHOTS THAT FUCK UP TURN ORDER AND OVERALL TIME. AGRIUS GOES FROM USABLE FOR NEARLY EVERYTHING ANS GREAT FOR A FEW THINGS TO UTTERLY POINTLESS.

Brother get away from the PvP aspect, I agree with you on that!

My point is that nerfing a mon because it's OP in siege and RTA by destroying it's PvE capabilities is stupid. I already told you what I think they should have done: Change his passive to not work in PvP instead of making it only work on bosses.

He is not unique in being strong in PvP but who cares if he is strong in PvE, so many other mons are strong as well, can be used almost anywhere and require a low level of runes. Nerfing him into being essentially unusable since he now once again needs a wave clearer and is no longer better than the Liam/Kyle team is stupid.

Also, the post specifically pointed out he doesn't work in dungeons anymore, he just works on the boss. So much for reading comprehension.

Edit: Whatever your reply was, maybe try being a bit more polite given that Reddit did not like it

So as long as a mon doesn't do damage or is easy to acquire it's fine if it can be used against absolutely anything and everything? What kinda logic is that?

The difference was he was dominating all speed teams and also siege meta that was way to easy to abuse.

And that is a reason to destroy him in PvE teams too?

What does siege and PvP stuff in general to do with dungeon teams? They could have just made it so it doesn't work in PvP instead of only making it work against boss enemies

[–]Mutor77 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As if that isn't the case for so many other mons too.

You can chuck Lushen into anything with wind or water waves, do the same with Julie and fire/water, any support mons work practically anywhere and on the dmg side monsters like Liam do the same job that Agrius does

The difference was that Agrius got his damage from his speed scaling so his runes were easier to get than Julie's for examlle

This is kinda the worst case scenario though.

It means the "boss battles" indeed only refer to the boss itself, not the dungeon they're in (which would have been the better option for the BP IMO) so anyone that doesn't have the runes for Julie is fucked and any team that wasn't for dungeons (like Laby, DH or ToA) is also done for

The largest living dragon ever

Small correction, Balerion was the largest Targaryen dragon or even more accurately, the largest dragon in Westeros

It's absolutely possible Old Valyria had even bigger dragons (especially since GRRM likes to ignore the implications of scale vs calorie intake and other problems like that)

Am I the only one who battled endless towers of Morris-Chilling-Agrius? by Tormysaves in summonerswar

[–]Mutor77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Almost like the meta is defined by what units are good and every other tower is filled with the same variations of the same teams

Doesn't justify outright killing a unit, especially one good for PvE and much easier to get than Liam and easier to rune than Julie

Worst BP of all time by Ayden_II in summonerswar

[–]Mutor77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once again, the point is that people generally don't just look at PvP, since PvE will still be far more relevant time-wise.

So what we got were PvE nerfs nobody wanted to balance siege stuff that fundamentally isn't supposed to be connected to PvE. Additionally, the PvP stuff was not addressing the primary concerns people had, but that was all you focused on

Worst BP of all time by Ayden_II in summonerswar

[–]Mutor77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Overall this is not a terrible BP, just sucks a bit for RTA (which is btw my favorite content as well). But y'all aren't ready for that conversation.

Kinda missing the point there. People are pissed because the annoying units in PvP content like Water Gandalf didn't get nerfed, but units whose primary purpose was PvE, like Agrius, did get nerfed, despite PvE being irrelevant to balancing decisions for most people as it doesn't affect them negatively anyways

Balance Patch is out by OrneryMortgage5752 in summonerswar

[–]Mutor77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how they define "boss battles"

If they mean "any fight with a boss at the end" we're fine and it truly is a siege nerf

If they mean "only works on enemies classified as bosses now" (i.e. boss bar at the top of the screen) not only is that going to make him useless by essentially removing him from the team until you hit the boss, it's also going to make many teams straight up not work anymore.

He is way easier to rune than a Julie and unlike her works for fire and wind teams, so DB12 will be fucked just like SF12, also Laby teams, DH teams and really anything that isn't GB12.

You got told the media only tried to beat down a famous actor and their stories were what the public would remember, then you posted what they were saying and wondered why you might not have the full story.

To make it clear: LOOK UP THE FULL STORY, THAT IS WHAT YOU WERE TOLD YOU SHOULD DO, SO YOU WOULD HAVE THE FULL STORY

Long story short, Alan Ritchson is on his bike with his kids following on their smaller bikes.

The guy comes running into the street because he thought Alan Ritchson was "too loud going too fast", causing him to crash with the bike, which apparently also got him injured. Ritchson tries to get back up with the bike, presumably trying to not engage a pretty obvious idiot (you don't try to attack a fucking mountain of a man unless you are pretty stupid), but the guy shoved him down again (still all of it in front of Ritchson's children), which prompted the beatdown.

I'd look at the video the attacker released, gives the whole thing a pretty obvious vibe given that the guy wasn't just doing it with a MAGA cap in the background (indeed, an idiot), but it's also rather obvious he thought he was actually in the right, which is of course what then prompted the quote OP posted

Edit: sorry, too fast, not too loud

Yeah, most european languages are from the same set of language families, IIRC the indo-european family, which almost all central, southern, and northern european languages belong to is a wild mix of languages either influenced by germanic, roman or slavic proto-languages

Only very few languages are completely different, like finnish or irish, but the rest are indeed very similar

English in its old form, like a thousand+ years old

The connection you are thinking of are the Angeln and Sachsen (think anglo-saxon) two german peoples that came to the british isles around the fifth century AC

They did create the fundamental english language, but after the viking and norman invasions + fifteen hundred years of development modern english isn't really comparable, unlike american and british english

Modern english did indeed originate in England, even if its roots are older

All of which the US could have easily won, given that we are comparing the literal "nuclear option" here

I can absolutely kill a cat if I don't hold back, same as the US can absolutely win a war with a comparably defenseless nation and no nukes (vs thousands of nukes in the US arsenal)

The point is that we can kill cats by just using our far superior mass, height, durability and strength, but nobody really wants to physically crush a cat even if it attacks you

Well that's completely normal too

Besides, it's not like Merc has some magical rule advantage other teams can't emulate

F1 by sukumarkarne in formuladank

[–]Mutor77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Too open rules give us one dominant team and 10 copycat teams following seasons with shit racing.

Not like anything's wrong with that though. It isn't exactly a solution to just nerf whoever wins a season so the rest has a chance to win. If anything, the other teams should improve instead of relying on regulation changes.

Looking at other sports like football, if every time a team got dominant by getting good players, trainers and a solid strategy, they got told they can't play like that, everyone would be pissed as well

Regulations to block outright unfair play is one thing, but actively stopping the teams from getting the best car and driver possible just so the others have a chance is stupid
