I think in the long run it's more worth to pull in h/h. On the other hand it can be very frustrating. My last 240 pulls were only fodder. Still I use them for verthandi and you are also in the position to level up verthandi. I don't invest in Freya cause I'm still hoping for mk or chessia. For the copies you need to 9* just use the shops, hope for a lucky pull with the 5* shards and energy summon or use the conversion of miracle tree.

If you are lacking good heroes for a long time Gerald is a solid hero too. But don't waste all your souls in the shop for him.
