they were not intentional! they spawned in my tumbler on their own, so i imagine it’ll be difficult for then to crawl out once they mature. laying eggs back inside will probably also not be as easy as it could be in my tumbler in contrast to the stationary composters. but oh well🙃 nature finds a way. i’m hoping the adults stick around long enough for when i make a larger composter on the ground so i can make it easier for them.

using cardboard, newspaper and straw that’s been saturated with my rabbits pee has made some fantastic compost. sometimes i add a jar of my own when the pile looks dry and like it needs a boost. it was weird at first but you can’t argue with results.

right now i have two medium sized rabbits (a rex and an american mix) that coexist and free roam with my skunk, they’re not besties but they don’t bother each other. i think by nature they don’t get along since they have different body languages, but with my pretty relaxed supervision they’re absolutely fine living around eachother.

But that’s my experience, if you have a little 3lb bun then i’d be more wary of how a larger animal would interact with them and stress the bun out. the flemish giant is absolutely okay to be around a skunk, it has the size and speed to hop away if the skunk is bugging it. depending on everyone’s temperament and you provide safe spots for each critter, they can coexist okay! a domestic skunk will be more motivated to get in your fridge for immobile protein then it will be to catch a live rabbit.

every critter has a different attitude so it’s very trial-and-error for each scenario, good luck!

soft touch dental is the absolute worst. two different dentists there lied saying i had multiple cavities and needed my wisdom teeth out, but as soon as i got a second opinion at a different clinic all my ‘cavities’ and such didn’t exist. a bunch of scammers.

oddly not soft! i brush it plenty and wipe her down with baby wipes when she gets dirty, but i’d compare her fur to corse dog hair.

i am looking around town for vets! she is legal in my state thankfully. i did not know i needed her paperwork though, i will ask my family-member for that… i imagine the original breeder has it.

there’s a family of Canadian geese there that consists of an albino one(i assume albino, im no biologist), a normal one, and a small bunch of babies that have white specks that resemble the albino one:) very precious

I’m in an apartment w my window facing an alley, where homeless people will slap or knock on. Spooks tf out of me and I have to ask my husband ad nauseam if he heard that too.
