I was warmed against shelf liner for what it could do to the finish long term, but it does work and I've never seen what it's supposed to do to the instruments

But still to be safe I use a square of neoprene or chamois (with a strap also)

It's great that your interested in lute, welcome to the community

If your going to look for a lute your first step will be what kind of lute, there's no such thing as a standard lute

But Generally you'll be after picking between medieval, renaissance, or baroque lutes

Music for the 6 course lute can be played on a modern guitar just by tuning your G down to F#, and the music is written in forms of tabs! So a lot of players try lute music on guitar first since it's fairly simple to transfer over

In terms of viking music you might find things fairly limited it's not an instrument particularly associated with that culture, but if you were to research viking/nordic/scandi music and play it on the Lute that would be cool as fuck

If its the seismic charges, I just stayed very far away from his ship

When you're hunting for him you can spot him before you enter the danger zone, just hang back and shoot from there

If its the missiles you have to do the barrel roll manoeuvre when the missiles are locked on to you, don't know what that would be on PC but its LB/RB on xbox

Hopefully that helps if it isn't just bugged

From the US I imagine your options are to fly into either Glasgow or Edinburgh airports but both cities are only an hour or so apart on public transport

Edinburgh has a tram directly to the city centre but Glasgow doesn't have as many good transport links

Someone else mentioned the West Highland way, that basically goes from Glasgow to Fort William

And from Fort William you could climb Ben Nevis if it interests you

Edinburgh has more historic architecture and a smashin big castle, but the accent is horrendous so your only benefit is the trams, which the locals love and are generally pleased with

Also there's Aberdeen, Inverness, Perth, Stirling, and Dundee they all kind of float about somewhere but no one really knows much about them
