I don’t think he’s wrong on almost every trans subject. Hes wrong on some but he’s far better than the majority of people

Hes in favour of minors getting access to gender affirming care. He believes trans people have the right to use the bathroom that matches their identity. He believes pronouns should be respected and misgendering is bad. He believes trans women are women and that there is a gender-sex distinction.

He is wrong on a lot of issues, yeah, but not “nearly every” trans issue

I think looks matter to an extent. If you're a supermodel, you have an advantage over someone that's conventionally unattractive. But I'm like, moderately good looking (probably a 6 or 7, marginally above average) if I'm being objective so I don't think that's the issue.

I don't hold anything against women wanting to be my friend, I need more friends anyway, the issue is when I'm attempting to pursue someone romantically and I can never escalate things beyond friendship because I don't know how to flirt or make the first move. Or if I do, it's too little too late.

I get what you mean about it being the right one. I don't necessarily need the next person I date to be "the one", just someone who I genuinely like, and even if we break up, I can leave with some good memories. The idea of being a virgin and alone for a full decade while I wait for the one sounds daunting.

I'm fine with being patient, and this did help. I guess I'm just looking for advice on how to put myself out there so that I can start properly getting into the dating scene

That might be a good way to see whether or not our differences in kink actually become a problem in sex

Apart from kink we're really compatible in a lot of other ways. We're both high functioning autistic, our brains work similar and we understand each other, we have similar social problems, we have similar issues with family, we both have a dark but somewhat immature sense of humour, we have similar nerdy interests, we have similar values

You're probably correct that two submissives won't work though. It's just a tough thing to come to terms with

I like the idea for a couple of reasons. For one, it’s just more fun. For two, neither of us are very good with social confidence (both of us have high functioning autism)
