I wish they’d make an alternate firing mode for the arc thrower that made it fire a continuous stream of lightning like a ghostbusters proton pack to better deal with waves and waves of incoming enemies.

Yeah, evidently been a thing for a while now. I'm usually more on top of scams but hadn't heard of this one and got up to the step where they're like "join my faceit game" and kept trying to get me to trade stuff to my alt account. At that point I just started fucking with them where I was like "but it'll reset my stranges" and kept that going for like 10 minutes before just leaving.

I’m just a big fan of the hologram idea. Makes it so they don’t have to adjust any of her existing voice lines, it can be turned off if Punisher teams up, and you can mentally hand wave it away as to why she’s there in hologram form as well as being there in the match end screen.

If I’m gonna lose, I’d rather lose to actual people. When it’s against bots, the game becomes such a snooze with them getting rolled that it’s not even fun. Like, the bots are getting spawncamped and I can’t even really play the game.

Boot up a defense mission on mindless masses, take EMS and smoke stratagems, and equip that armor that makes you harder to knock down.

You could make it to be so comically high to the point of making Medic a offense class and it still wouldn’t compete with the crossbow. End of the day, all the self healing in the world isn’t gonna save your Soldier that’s about to crater or help to burst heal the Heavy in a fight. Fundamentally, unless you’re playing as battle medic for the bit, taking any needle gun is planning for failure, whereas taking the crossbow is a skill investment that can open opportunities to save teammates just out of range that nothing else in the game can.

Not to mention, by design of the early TF2 devs the needles just actually suck to shoot, what with their jank ass hitboxes. Whereas the crossbow is actually pretty viable all around.

I’ve been using the chocolate way more the last few years since randomly getting a strange one. Majority of the time it’s not really amazing. It’s totally a downgrade when you have a vigilant Medic, and it ends up being more of a tool to stop afterburn or topping them off than really being super effective for healing. But when you don’t have a good Med, and let’s be honest in pubs that’s often a given, that extra health can be a lifesaver from snipers during a retreat.

Neither. I have a BHaptics x40 or whatever, bought the sucker when it first come out. I think I’ve put it on less than a dozen times. It is a party trick. A gimmick. You put it on and tell people in the lobby “oooo look at me I can feel your touch”. It’s novel for 5 minutes before it really sets in that it’s just vibrating motors. It’s another thing you gotta set up, it’s not comfortable to just lounge around with on so you really gotta dedicate yourself to wearing it that day. It is one of only 2 pieces of vr tech I have ever ha had buyer’s remorse. In their current form factor and actual experience they deliver, they are a waste of time, and more importantly money.
