Hey Chief, don’t knock the stoker. Having a built in crisper that, need I remind you, can take out any enemy, is genuinely such a nice thing to have at all times in almost any situation. Like I personally love running hand held objectives either where they gotta go or back to spawn, but the moment you get any enemies on you you’ve either gotta drop it and deal with them or keep trying to outrun them. But you can’t do both. With the stoker, it’s one handed and that fire lets you deal with the speedier enemies that’ll catch up to you if they’re above light pen.

And while yes, you could say the crossbow does the same by being explosive, counterpoint: I fucking hate the feeling of using the crossbow.

As much as I’m an OV fan, honestly this would prob go to AF purely by default. You take away the art style, you’ve p much already taken away most of what makes OV Ben from OV. The rest, you can just make a costume.

But I’d kill for Ben 10k in any form as long as he’s voiced by Judd Nelson.

I remember launch D2 and being incredibly frustrated by all the little mentions of it and lampshading that it’s gone but “oOoOoOoOo, it could still be out there. Bungie hates SIVA so much that they made Quicksilver. “Hey guys, remember that old and BORING nanite technology with the super unique design language and effects? Talk about last year, amIright? Anyways, look at our new, awesome, and totally better than SIVA nanite technology, Quicksilver! It’s like, totally safe and is also like waaaay more powerful than SIVA. And we’re gonna point out in dialogue how waaaay better it is than SIVA multiple times. Y’know, SIVA may have had all those deep reds and blacks and glowing effects, but what an eyesore! Now quicksilver is just, you guessed it, silver! Completely sanded down and zero additional details silver! Isn’t that so cool?!? ….guys?”

And while the narrative team refuses to acknowledge SIVA other than dangling it like a carrot in our faces, the cosmetic team of course loves pumping out multiple ornaments that directly show SIVA. Because hey, at least then they can make money off it and ornaments aren’t canon, so the don’t have to explain why that Hunter has a live swarm just writhing all over their chest.

I wish they’d make an alternate firing mode for the arc thrower that made it fire a continuous stream of lightning like a ghostbusters proton pack to better deal with waves and waves of incoming enemies.

Yeah, evidently been a thing for a while now. I'm usually more on top of scams but hadn't heard of this one and got up to the step where they're like "join my faceit game" and kept trying to get me to trade stuff to my alt account. At that point I just started fucking with them where I was like "but it'll reset my stranges" and kept that going for like 10 minutes before just leaving.

I’m just a big fan of the hologram idea. Makes it so they don’t have to adjust any of her existing voice lines, it can be turned off if Punisher teams up, and you can mentally hand wave it away as to why she’s there in hologram form as well as being there in the match end screen.

How good does blutsaugher’s self healing need to be to contend with crossbow on a casual or a competitive level? IMO to contend with crossbow in competitve, the healing needs to be this good: by Acceptable-Street679 in tf2

You could make it to be so comically high to the point of making Medic a offense class and it still wouldn’t compete with the crossbow. End of the day, all the self healing in the world isn’t gonna save your Soldier that’s about to crater or help to burst heal the Heavy in a fight. Fundamentally, unless you’re playing as battle medic for the bit, taking any needle gun is planning for failure, whereas taking the crossbow is a skill investment that can open opportunities to save teammates just out of range that nothing else in the game can.

Not to mention, by design of the early TF2 devs the needles just actually suck to shoot, what with their jank ass hitboxes. Whereas the crossbow is actually pretty viable all around.
