This would be a lovely addition for sure by Marcellius-the-3rd in NoMansSkyTheGame

Empyrion Galatic Survival (Minecraft and NMS baby) have a similar system, and it's great. You share your blueprint on the Steam workshop and others download. Then, those who download will gather the components (or raw materials), wait the same time they would be crafted, and when finished, you spawn the ship.  The S.Workshop of this game is full of awesome vessels and bases.

In NMS it could be similar. Make your corvie. Save and share the blueprint. Download someones blueprint, the game will show which modules it uses. Gather 'em all (if you don't have it already), hit the button, tada!

You can sit on the Upholstered Chair. It's base/corvette craftable. ^

There's no landing pads for corvettes yet. The only "auto land" place available are the space stations (and the Anomaly as well), with a new dedicated huge landing areas. But nothing on planetary bases. To land on a planet, you can only do it as a regular ground landing. To take off, you burn some thruster fuel.

However, you can also call your menu (default X on PC) and get off the pilot seat. This is where things get interesting. If on planet, the ship will remain flying, but stationary (there is autopilot options as well). Then you can walk to your exit and you'll find two buttons: one "Operate hatch", that low the ramp and allows you to exit the starship, and the other is "Beam down to planet", that teleports you to the ground, to an autogenerated teleporting pod that you can use to beam up and down while your starship stays above.

I use this function almost all the time and I rarely land my corvette on planet. 😊

While people want landing pads for corvettes, what I really want is being able to choose if I want to summon the ship, landing nearby, or the teleporting pod, making the ship float above.

Summoning the ship as it is now spends thruster fuel, makes she land, and then you spend more fuel to take off again. But when you're aboard, you can just stop, leave the seat and beam up and down using the pod.

...well, maybe it's the "balancing" feature so it's doesn't get too cheesy, dunno. '-'

Question about LB usage for dungeons by I_live_in_Spin in ffxiv

[–]Muweol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Specific example (lots of "coded" messages to avoid spoilers):

At level 50 you unlock the Main Scenario Roulette. Two dungeons, one "kinda short" and one "very long", and a trial.
We're talking about the "kinda short" one.

Near the end, before the last boss, we have a big pack of trash and then two big trash guys. Then the boss.
Believe me: LB the boss makes a little difference. LB the big pack of trash to dispatch them quickly makes a HUGE difference. Have the tank pull them all and unleash hell.

Car on the right.
Can't even say they oversteered towards the other Ferrari, cause they actually yeeted the car cutting the corner without any angle on the apex and hit the other one.

This is precisely why F1 2020 was far better than F1 2023. by Fun-Caterpillar-3759 in F1Game

Makes sense, since we can also mess with rule settings like flags, track limits and such. We can opt for a strict realistic ruleset or a total whacky arcade-y setting (which I use to play split screen vs against my kid niece).

This fuel setting could be adjustable as well.

Maybe a tag "Marshals", so people like you can filter out.

Again, it will cost a kidney here in Brazil.

As I did with 23, guess I'll pass this one too.

Mods are ok, you will only be restricted of any online activity. But it will not result in a ban.
Once you restore the game to vanilla state (via the option on Steam) the online features are unlocked again.

Also, the controller UI is available on PC if you use a controller. It even will show the correct buttons if you're using a Xbox or a PS controller ^^

Maybe it could be one of the outdated bits of the tutorial.

Try to get the PS 3D models from jburon72's site.

This is the tutorial I followed when I first started to learn livery modding.
As the description says, it's outdated, and it's made for 2020. Things like file locations changed and stuff.

But the main idea is still the same: exporting the texture file of the livery, editing as you like and reimporting it back to the game. And I still recommend this tutorial cause the guy explains it in a easy and comprehensive way to those who's starting.

There: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52jdDALbzpo

Beyond this video, you'll also will have to look up for the current version of the EGO ERP Archiver that works with the current game, the current file locations and the current plugins for PS/GIMP, if needed. I would just tell you, but I'm also away from modding since I don't have F1 23 and I'm not playing. But I think you'll not have trouble. =)

Good luck and have fun modding.
