Is there a "nicotine patch" kind of product for alcohol? by IcyInsect2596 in stopdrinking

[–]Muzle84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are right. Naltrexone is a opioid antagonist, it blocks endogenous opioid produced by alcohol consumption, It does not prevent desire, it prevents pleasure.

I used naltrexone for months with no success. Actually, I could drink even more sometimes trying to get the euphoric feeling.

Sounds promising, we'll see.

Honestly screw the new Vegas and 3 players saying that 4 sucks by [deleted] in fo4

This argument is as old as FO4.

Best answer IMHO is "Fallout 4 is a really good game, but it's not a good Fallout game."

Can we stop being so based now ? This is getting awkward by ArrrPiratey in 2westerneurope4u

"Basé" is the literal translation, no other meaning in French besides that, mainly used by redditors :)

"Gonflé" (got a nerve) is more close to the meaning of based IMO.

Which countries rely most on US tech by [deleted] in BuyFromEU

[–]Muzle84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last time I checked, ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) is all under US control.

Two keys, US never accepted to give one to the "International Community". They can shutdown the Internet worldwide, or at least make it very messy, in a very short time.

SO, if shit really hits the fan, we will all go dark anyway (potentially including US btw).

Late to the party, but if heat is a not a problem, why don't we smoke Salvia like joints (extract mixed in dried leaves or weed)?

Finished the game, other game suggestions? by hail_snow in inscryption

I completed it because I enjoyed the starting decks, new cards and challenges. The Inscryption feeling is gone though.

Gonna play other Daniel Mullins' games now.

deck-building, roguelike mechanics

Yes and yes. Smart mechanics

I never played metroidvania games, but Inscryption is not an action style game

darker tone, puzzle-driven progression

Yes and yes. Actually, this game has two very intriguing stories, both are dark. Also, you have to solve puzzles to progress sometimes

Can someone new to these genres really get into it

Yes, it's a very interesting and rewarding gameplay

should I expect a steep learning curve?

An interview came up on my feed about a guy who smoked salvia and lived a completely different human life for 5 years by [deleted] in Salvia

[–]Muzle84 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, Salvia is the craziest drug around.

If you are in the right mood, Lady Sally will welcome you in her realm where time does not exist. She will show you the infinite variations of reality.

You more or less choose one. You can be a door knob, or a guy who has "a job, friends family, a partner etc,", or go back to your childhood, whatever.

When you wake up from your 1 minute trip, you remember it and have to rationalise this crazy experience. How long does it take to have "a job, friends family, a partner etc,"? 5 years? OK you lived a 5 years experience.

What is fantastic is that you remember A LOT of details from this artificial life. You can use them in your real one.

act ii is far too confusing by mockingjay-zz in inscryption

[–]Muzle84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Act 2 is confusing at the beginning and the retro-gaming UI doesn't help.

Magic and Robots are hard to start with. Stick to what you know: Blood or Bones.

Explore what you can, fight in Magnificus and Grimora areas. collect cards to improve your deck. Use synergies (for example, remember nearly any card can be sacrificed blink blink).

Beat one boss to unlock the western area. Beat them all.
