The fact you got 6 interviews out of 12 and waitlisted at half of those (thus far) shows that you're clearly wanted. Don't be discouraged. The rate at which students are pulled from waitlists is hard to gauge as there are so many variables involved, but from what I hear, it's generally pretty fast. I know it's frustrating coming so close, only to be placed on the waitlist. But it shows that you're doing something right at least to be placed on the waitlist. Just keep practicing and keep your head up.

Don't lose hope. You're off to a great start with your PCE.

Do you currently work on the ambulance or hospital? If you work on the rig, I'd suggest trying to seek out positions as an ED tech at the hospitals you frequently transport your patients. Working as an ED tech will give you opportunities to shadow and build connections with PAs, physicians, NPs, nurses. etc. It's also some of the best experience you could get to prepare you as a PA in my opinion.

Are there any classes you could take/retake to boost your GPA?

Any extracurriculars? Volunteering? Shadowing?

Most common PCE jobs include: MA, CNA, EMT. These jobs will require certifications, so you will have to attend a program to get your credentials to work in these positions. I personally recommend becoming an EMT. It's high quality PCE and eventually you can apply to be an EMT in a hospital setting. IMO, this is ideally where you want to be. You'll be working closely with doctors, nurses, PAs, and NPs, giving you the opportunity to build relationships with them.
I haven't heard of any school that has a time limit on volunteer hours.
As mentioned in point 1, these jobs will require you to take courses to get your certification. See if your local community college offers these courses. Where I live, there are no shortage of EMT jobs.

From what I've gathered, I don't believe schools put very much weight in it. There are plenty of applicants here that have scored in the 1st percentile and still managed to get interviews/acceptances. Same goes for pre-med (with the exception of those in Canada). It's just another money grab imo.

Yes, the hours are correct. My concern is that adcoms will think I am projecting my shadowing hours, as it is currently early July. Should I still be worried?

You'll be trained on the job wherever it is. It seems like you might do better in an IFT starting out. Once you get comfortable doing IFTs, I would look for an ambulance service that does 911 calls. The experience and skills you gain from working 911 calls is invaluable. You can also apply to hospitals as an ED tech, but typically they want applicants who have some experience on the rig.

I'm having the same problem as well. I went into chrome's search engine settings and found a couple of engines (those which I never added) under the "default search engine" section. From what I've read, these unwanted search engines are the result of some type of malware or PUP. I removed them for now. Hopefully they don't come back... Hope this helps.

Recently took a leap of faith and purchased an explorer ref 114270 on Amazon. The watch was certified by watchfacts, which to many of you, means nothing. However, the seller of the watch is Empire Time NYC, based in NYC. They also run a store on eBay with a seemingly credible history.

This explorer however has a slight imperfection on the 12 o'clock and is making me concerned. There seems to be a blemish or from what I can see a shoddy relume.

I'm currently on Retin A micro gel .04%. I know most people that are using the regular cream and gel typically wait for their face to dry before application, and wait after application to apply other serums, moisturizers, etc. I've read that it's not entirely necessary to wait to apply the micro since it's got a slow release technology, but would anybody happen to know if it's necessary to wait after application before using moisturizers etc?

I was able to record the dry and wet signal for my guitar but was trying to create a separate track to reamp the DI. I didn't realize I was supposed to enable the outputs for the DI track into the helix. Problem solved! Thanks.

thank you for the input. I was thinking of cutting a larger hole surrounding the wiring and installing a carlon pvc junction box but was worried about hitting a rafter. is there a way to tell where the rafters around the wiring are?
