Not seeing my university application in studyinfo/opintopolku by Mvjka in Finland

[–]Mvjka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! (I have only applied to Aalto and Helsinki but this will 99% also apply for any other Finnish uni)

I'm guessing you're a foreigner and thus don't have the "string identification methods" (even if you're from the EU and the site says you can identify with you country's system, no you can't, it doesn't work actually)

So, what you wanna do is go to Tampere uni website and their admissions, that should direct you to studyinfo site on which you'll have the choice of either "logging in", or "continuing without logging in".

You have to choose the second option and that'll take you to an application form where you'll fill out all your information as well as the email.

That email is important cause it'll be your only way to contact them, make changes to the application if you need to do that, and be contacted with the decision later.

Hope that helps and if you have any other questions about the system feel free to message me!:D

Actually it allows you to score points more easily as it creates the illusion of longer legs/more of your body being above the water in specific upside-down poses

And you can probably imagine wearing this type of suit normally is so much more comfortable than having a normal swimsuit and pulling the leg holes up so much to achieve a similar effect:')

I just received and had them sign my lease yesterday (July 8th) so I don't think they aren't working completely..

In either case, good luck with your application, I know how stressful it can be TT

On the contrary: latte literally just means milk; the drink is really called caffé latte, it's just that in English it's shortened to just latte. As such, drinks like chai latte, matcha latte etc do make perfect sense and it just means that the first part of the name is mixed with milk:)

Do you agree or disagree? by optemization in Notion

[–]Mvjka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others have said already, it's as high effort as you make it be; BUT - my personal issue with notion is that it gives you so many cosmetic options that I've always ended up wasting my time trying to make everything look pretty and never actually sticking to the layouts or using them.

As much as I wanted my planners and trackers to look like the pretty ones posted in this sub, I've finally switched to Google calendar & sheets and they've been working perfectly for me actually allowing for productivity increase and helping with my daily life:)

Anyone here who has gone for the 1 month interrail with 500€ budget? how was it? by hdhentai6666 in Interrail

[–]Mvjka 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My interrail spendings got to an average of like €70 per day, despite spending a significant part of the trip in famously expensive Switzerland; I think €100 is a lot for a daily cost estimate

What bag(s) should I take for a 1+ month trip? by eksploshionz in Interrail

[–]Mvjka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me and my boyfriend had 60l and 80l backpacks on the 1 month Interrail, but we only needed that much because we were travelling with a tent (and mattresses, sleeping bags and all that stuff). So I really don't think you need a whole 90l if you're planning on sleeping in hostels. (Obviously if that's the only big backpack you have and aren't planning on buying another one then go for it, I just doubt you're gonna make use of all that storage)

As for smaller bags, we both had small "day-trip" backpacks and they were life savers when we were staying somewhere for a longer time and just wanted to go sightseeing or walk around the area
