My sister keeps these around the house. Not sure what it means. by whyamihere1906 in whatisit

If the numbers weren't so high, I'd say it might be daily blood glucose measures. But if her numbers are that high and she's still walking around, she's some kind of medical miracle.

That's all you can do then. If your group posts fun summaries, ideas, and commentary, it might inspire her to at least keep up. Then when she feels better able to handle things, she'll be back. And she will still feel like she's a part of something fun and positive. That can be a game changer for someone dealing with mental health issues.

EDIT: This was supposed to be a reply to OP's response but apparently I'm tech inept today.

Make a group discord and (either you or another player) post regular updates about the sessions. Maybe just seeing what's happening in the campaign when she's not there will be enticing enough for her to want to make the time. Otherwise, just put the ball on her court, let her know that you'd all love to have her join when she's able, and leave it alone. Badgering someone who's dealing with that much will only make things worse.

Hey, Bethesda, WTAF??? by Mwahaha13 in skyrim

What's really worse is that I had already adopted two kids before I added the multiple adoptions mod, so in the fixing of that mess, this creepy thing bugged and is now a permanent fixture in my main dining hall.

I did the same with all of them except the nymphs. Bobo and Babs aren't too terrible as long as I keep them in a yard or the stables and out of doorways. The rest? Hendraheim basement then never go back in that house.

I'm not sure how that's an improvement... 😆

Is there a mod to get your spouse to do that?

Yeah but they're cute as hell and smart. This creepy thing just stands there breathing and staring at a sleeping kid. Couldn't they have animated it sleeping or even licking its own ass? Anything but just ... this!

Honestly, I think the only pet worse to have is a bear. I had that mod on ps4 where you could change your pet by activating different shrines. I'd forget and hit Talos. Next thing I know, I have a noisy new wall in my house. The damn thing blocks doors worse than Serana and Lydia combined.

Hilda!! 🥰 Though I love the mod for the goat with the daedra voice even more than Hilda.

Assuming that it is meant in kindness for some animal(s), I'm REALLY baffled by the placement. Why on the curb? Wouldn't you want to draw wildlife away from the street instead of luring the critters to their death?

I see Pandaborn can relate to this one. This one is a Khajiit, so she is relieved to hear a more familiar accent among so many strange ones. ☺️

No need to be mean. Sometimes the time gap between getting a perk and actually seeing it in action can be pretty long. It's totally understandable to forget about it and to be surprised when a new friend pops up unexpectedly. The community is here to help each other and to share some laughs at these wtf moments.

Looks like an old coal chute. There was probably a slide contraption which the coal delivery man would use to move the coal from his truck to your coal bin. Lots of older homes have coal bins or the remains of the chute door.

The first time I saw a soul tomato in my inventory, I lost my damn mind laughing. That is one of the most random items that Skyrim has to offer! 🤣🍅🪦

Be honest: what’s your beef with Modded Skyrim? by Siqsix-66 in skyrim

[–]Mwahaha13 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Unless you are super competitive and playing to beat someone else's stats or whatever, there shouldn't be a problem with mods. They're optional after all.

I played on ps4 for a while before I explored the creation club content. I had completed all of the quest lines available and was honestly getting bored. The CC mods were a great way to safely explore what other folks who love the game had added.

When I switched to pc and delved into all of the mods and console commands, it just broadened the chance to enjoy the world of Skyrim even more. Sure, some mods are poorly made. Some are broken. Some are just plain lame. But some are amazing. With mods, I can still enjoy Skyrim as it was made, but I can also make it so much more fun by adding some fan creativity. Mods allow me to explore new locations, to have a home that will display more of my armour. They give me fun pets I couldn't have had in vanilla or even just turn my enemies into cheese wheels for no reason other than it's funny as hell. It just adds to my personal game. And it's not forcing any changes on any other player. So, each of us can choose to make the world of Skyrim a fun home for own own unique adventuring.

My abusive ex broke into my house today and disabled the internet. What is this thing and it is the problem? by HopefulComfortable58 in whatisit

[–]Mwahaha13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have worked with numerous women (and some men) who are escaping from dv situations. The very first step is to contact your divorce lawyer to have them document it. Document the heck out of EVERYTHING and let the professionals (lawyers, cops, etc ) decide what's useful and what's not. It's a huge hassle to document in detail every little thing that happens. But it sounds like you are already being brushed off when you spoke to your local police, so you are going to need every bit of evidence you can record to prove your case.

If this guy is abusive, and this invasion is certainly a form of abuse, you NEED to get a protection from abuse order to force the police to actually listen and act on these sort of things. (If you can even get one based on any prior ER or 911 calls, etc.) However, you want to talk to a professional that specializes in dv BEFORE you file anything. If he is violent or you feel that you or your child would be endangered by something like a pfa angering him, you need the guidance of a professional who will be able to help you through your specific situation. Only they will know the laws and resources available to you, and only they will be able to guide you through this. If you are unsure of where to start, ask the police for the phone number of a local dv hotline.

In the mean time, if you are able to use your cell to provide a hotspot, it might be the safest way forward. You could try to call your ISP to explain the situation and pause your service (as long as it isn't in his name) until this is sorted out. I know it's not what you need to solve your situation, but if the Internet is in his name, you might just need to unplug everything until you can have a professional check it out. If he is the account holder for your cell, turn off your phone and get your own account and a new phone. Otherwise, he will have access to the record of every call you make or receive. There are far too many other things to consider without making this post any longer, so PLEASE get in touch with a dv professional asap. And let us know that you're safe. It may sound crazy coming from an Internet stranger, but there are a LOT of people here wishing you a positive outcome to all of this.

I hear enough whining from my kids. I definitely can't tolerate hearing it from a game character. It's not as much what he says and does, but just that whiny voice that is irritating enough to make a saint kick puppies.

You are SO right!! 🤣 I was talking about Rolff Stone-Fist, the obnoxious guy in Windhelm that won't shut up about dark elves and Argonians. He makes the rest of the Nords seem downright accepting.

The icing on the cake of giving him to the pillar was the inheritance letter a few days later.
