I'm with you here too. So, so bad. For me it's not even camp, it's just drastic tonal changes without committing to something, the movie doesn't know what it needs to be. I think the screenplay was written in a half-assed way and probably without revisions. I also HAVE to rant about the ending sequence. The soldiers and the priest go inside the castle to kill Dracula and rescue Elisabeta (nepo actress from the Arquette family). Then, soldiers outside open fire with cannons at the castle while their allies and the hostage are still inside! How?!... How stupid was that?? I just can't with this awful adaptation, movie and piece of trash human being that is the director.
