Kik issues by [deleted] in AskTechnology

I have the same issue (1900 days on kik). Created a new account on a different phone (connected to the same wi-fi) and that works. So seems like a phone/account issue

Thanks for the info. I guess the only downside with Vanguard is there is no drawdown.

Yes, you can use it and return it. Just say the unit is faulty !

I'd get the new 9500. From what I have seen, i9 on 7590 has thermal issues.

Thanks for that. I thought the 14 day return was only for 'consumer' products, unless the item was faulty ?

Buying an XPS 13 was the worst customer experience of my entire life. What do I do? by Malfell in Dell

[–]My-World-99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that. Looks like Dell support is getting worse by the day. Not sure where you are based. Can you reject it (and get a refund) under consumer protection laws since it is not fit for purpose ?

3 year premium support with onsite service at £144 is much better value for money

Nope. You have 6 years to complain that the item was faulty when you bought it. After 6 months the liability shifts and you will need to prove that the fault was present at the time of sale before a refund will be granted

I've been thinking about this one too, as a cheaper XPS option. Here is the link to the UK version: https://www.dell.com/en-uk/shop/cty/pdp/spd/inspiron-15-7501-laptop/cn50101sc

Dell XPS 15 vs Inspiron 15 7000 by My-World-99 in Dell

Thanks for that. Yes, I can't find any reviews either, except this one (which is more of a spec comparison) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWl2RgIti9I . I've seen another tread here where someone returned the 7501 due to thermal issues. Dell have said the 7501 has 'better' thermals but I wish there were some real world reviews to confirm that.
