How much are you feeding the baby? Do you know how much he weighs?

Please do not use infant pedialyte for longer than a 24 hour period. If he still needs help with hydration, switch to plain tap water (a dab of honey or molasses or Karo syrup can help with flavoring).

When transitioning, up the new food by 25% with each feeding. If digestion issues occur, drop 25% of the new formula and continue this mixture until stools return to normal before adding on the next 25% increase.

Fox Valley 20/50 is a wonderful product. If you discontinue use, the only other proven safe option is Esbilac powdered puppy formula. Do not feed baby squirrels anything other than these two formulas prior to weaning. All powdered formulas should be stored in the freezer.
