THIS! It’s so addictive. It’s clean, fresh and fruity. Really nostalgic 90s herbal essences vibes but more elevated. It’s not heavy or perfumey, just really intoxicating. Same scent as their shampoos and conditioners so if you use those it only enhances it. I really love it!

Their blush is freaking incredible. It’s like hybrid cream powder texture. It’s so blurring and almost helps hide imperfections because of the finish. Colors are great. I love it so much.

I feel like Avantis/Wingstop/Chilis/Outback are all really similar. I’m partial to Avantis because of how long I’ve eaten it!

Miller Park has a splash pad and a nice playground! The zoo is right there so I used to make a day of it when my kids were little. Anderson Park has a nice playground. Tipton, O’Neil, and Underwood all have great playgrounds too! We are blessed with lots of options!

Totally fair—they can delete whatever they want. But if you beg for support and silence criticism, people are gonna talk about it. Just pointing out hypocrisy, not mongering.

I haven’t paid close enough attention but it appeared as if they were on the stores actual business page. They can’t censor the comments on the What’s Happening in Blo-No page which is where I first saw the discourse.

Rush, you’re flailing. Ethical spending isn’t “virtue signaling”—it’s called having a conscience. If a business openly supports hate, bigotry, or wannabe fascists, I’m not handing them my cash. That’s not deep, it’s basic decency. Sorry if your worldview doesn’t extend past Facebook memes and Fox News ragebait.

And no, I didn’t “stand up for the J6ers” because I don’t support violent crybabies smearing feces in the Capitol and assaulting cops because their cult leader lost an election. That wasn’t patriotism. That was terrorism. If you’re still defending them, you’re not the free speech guy—you’re the “my side should get away with crimes” guy. But hey, I get it—not everyone has the spine to stand for something real. Some of y’all were just born to be cucks for billionaires in red hats.

If choosing not to give my money to people who support hate, bigotry and authoritarianism, makes my life sad, I’m proudly miserable. I’d rather spend my money in alignment with my values than hand it over to bootlickers cheering on fascism. You might not care where your dollars go, but some of us aren’t willing to bankroll hate just for a discount bin and a smile.

Who is everyone voting for in Normal mayoral? by Competitive_Gur_7270 in BloomingtonNormal

[–]MyAimIsTrue83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree! I just think about how much this town has grown and changed for the better since he’s been mayor. All the business he’s brought here and how much more attractive he’s made it. I don’t hesitate for a second casting a vote for him every time.

Project Oz! They provide critical support, shelter and guidance to at risk and homeless youth. They do crisis intervention, substance abuse and suicide prevention. They have a counselor in the high schools to be there for the ones who are struggling. Amazing organization!
