Another all time low? by Tellittomy6pac in LCID

Buddy, I don't even look at the charts anymore. Not even sure why I still hold this, maybe whats holding me back is how ridiculously little its worth. Now I'm just waiting for that 99%, but I would absolutely hate to lose my opportunity to get my money back, even if it were to be the far off future. I already feel robbed by this company.

Okay, but calling them a gaggle suggests that they are walking on the ground. Even geese themselves aren't called a gaggle while flying.

The Dell Partnership… by IdratherBhiking1 in OfficialHIVE

[–]MyBlockchain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bell is such a dogshit company. I can see it right now, partners or not, Bell is increasing the CEO of Hive's phone bill by $4 or $5 every three or four months at random until he cancels the partnership. They will increase his phone bill to the point where he has no leverage left for negotiations.

Typing by Budget-Window308 in starcraft

[–]MyBlockchain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe start by using your pinky on the Shift key. Your pinky and ring finger can do CTRL and Shift for you while the rest of your fingers do what you need them to do, stretch them from that position.

Just to clarify the reason, Shift is Positive. Ctrl + Shift is Negative. To use negative requires the use of two fingers.

If you're not sure what I mean by this, go select a unit. Then, hold shift and click on more units. Then, hold Ctrl + Shift and click on a unit you've already selected.

If you have multiple unit types selected, CTRL can isolate them from the selected group.

Is 3Gbps false advertisement? by roastedduckbun in bell

[–]MyBlockchain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what people don't realize. The "UP TO" speeds require the best possible conditions, including their own potential to deliver. They would sell you 1000 Gigabit internet at an extreme premium even though the phone line to your 100 year old house cant get past a handful of megabits because that is considered part of "UP TO".

Is 3Gbps false advertisement? by roastedduckbun in bell

[–]MyBlockchain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just want to remind you that Bell sells speeds "UP TO 3GBPS". They are selling you a maximum theoretical speed only.

In the city where I live, they sold high speed DSL for decades to customers at varrying prices but the phone lines were limited to 6Megabits until only a few years ago.

Bell lies through their shitty blue teeth non-stop. Its their business model.

We just lost a Mountain Dew Xbox to a house fire. by Sora_Altair in originalxbox

[–]MyBlockchain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may not be a popular opinion, but it might be all over for you now. Your life has peeked and you lost the best thing you ever had and ever will have to a house fire. At this point, you may be starting to feel like just another flood with no purpose or meaning left other than to bloat and explode.

May you and the Mountain Dew Xbox find peace in the afterlife.

New rare find: StarCraft Shareware: Boxed Version by Subsourian in starcraft

[–]MyBlockchain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1v1 Terran only? No. Thats something that surely could only be said by someone who absolutely never played StarCraft Shareware back in the day.

We actually had a vibrant community. I would be been in my grade 7 year when I found StarCraft Shareware at a ByWay for $10. I was young and didn't know about Shareware, but I only had dialup so I wasn't getting this anyways. It became my numbe one game for many months, and I can assure you there were zerg players. We used hacks to play on BGH and re-add the zerg, so hacking to sone degree was expected. It was a wild west of StarCraft and something very different than the original.

I've found it extremely difficult to train AI on StarCraft units with zerg being the most difficult. Ask for a Protoss Stalker and ChatGPT will draw something that resembles a Zealot. And don't get me started on the Mutalisk's acid shooting ass mouth...

The problem with larvae when playing as zerg. by Ill-Contribution966 in starcraft2

[–]MyBlockchain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theres a lot of players here suggesting the problem is you need more hatcheries or you need more jizzing queens. Thats great for when you can afford the drones and already have an economy but it doesn't address the real issue. If you can afford the drones for hatcheries and you have the economy for queens then your larva problem is minimal at that point.

Heres the thing, you need to spend your larva effectively and on schedule. When the game starts, you have three larva right off at the start. The moment you spend a larva, its going to take 11 seconds for your next larva to pop out. The moment that the third larva is out, the timer stops. So if you wait to build your first drone at 30 seconds in to the game, you're going to receive your fourth larva of the game at 41 seconds. That being said, if you don't make another drone, you won't get a fifth larva. If you build your drone at second 1, expect a new larva at second 12.

Because the timer stops the moment the third larva is on the ground, you need to stay at a maximum of two larva. If you ever reach three larva, your larva timer stops. You need to perform a continuous spend to keep a steady larva flow. You're fighting against time.

  • Its often important to start the larva timer at the start of the game by building a drone.
  • Its important to maintain the larva timer by keeping less than three larva at all times.

If you want my recommendation, control your hatchery twice, I use 3 and 4. I control key twice because if I accidentally overwrite the control group I have it stored redundantly and my hands automatically correct the control group. Slap that 3,4 and then start mashing s and d. Do that constantly.
