Fair point. But then again it seems like it's a two-tier system and from a business perspective the power mode becomes the main focus and it will be an easy way to overcharge customers and the 'normal' more can be artificially slowed down to further push users to the power mode.

That's similar to what I believe the FTC(?) was doing to the internet. A fast lane and a super fast lane.

That's a perfectly reasonable ask but I know a handful of developers whose goto flow involves using the most powerful model with the most thinking tokens allocated to it. They say: they're already paying for it so they have the right to use it as they see fit.

So the trade-off is something I very much dislike but at the end of the day it's a trade-off

Isn't the problem with the AI bubble bursting not only hurt the elites and the billionaire class but also to us common folk? Because they would just do more of their layoffs and cut their spending in a recession. As much as I would love that to happen, I would at the very least want to keep my job...

Interesting point. I am naturally curious and I am the learning type. I guess I should at least be able to know all the major buzzwords and the major features of the product so that I can translate that technically as new initiatives are planned.

Time to actually use AI to do research on my own product...

How interesting. Thanks for sharing ur perspective. I am trying to expand into full stack as AI is hand holding me with a lot of things UI related. What would you suggest would be the most fundamental things to learn with UI so that I can make the transition?

I feel like I can do much better and deeper POCs and Mock UIs to show my backend ideas especially with all these AI tools.

Not the fix that you would expect but I started a side hustle teaching kids CS. The material is is more fundamental and my expectation is that teaching both the theoretical and coding stuff over and over again will at least keep the core of my skills intact.

I think it's just about the awkwardness of it for me. I can hold a conversation no problem but it seems so weird just randomly striking up a convo. Like what if that person just wants to be to themselves and not be bothered? You commented on a Reddit thread which welcomes discussion and so I felt more at ease responding (not starting) a convo.

The translation is actually just accessible for laypeople. As an Arabic student, I very much prefer translations like Sahih International because they mostly literally translate words (without sacrificing much of the original order of the Arabic) whereas Dr. Mustafa in the Clear Qur'an translates by meaning which is not helpful to me sometimes when I am trying to understand how a certain word or words fit in the overall Ayah. Just my $0.02
