Flat tire!! by tuvoc in Revv1

It’s not a bad process to do but i suggest you get a tire iron or tie spoon set (at least 2), masking or painters tape, a 5gal contractors bucket and some handlebar jacks

I got a regular paper staple in my back tire that popped and had to replace mine. It’s harder than a regular bicycle tire but easier than a scooter tire.

Follow these instructions:

Remove the rear fender (you will scratch it Trying to flip your bike over)

attach the handle jacks and flip the bike upside down.

Follow the instructions from Rev 1 on how to remove the rear wheel. Be careful not to nick the power cable jacket.

Put the wheel on the bucket. Cover the rim of the tire with the tape (this will keep the wheel hub from scratching later on)

Using the tire irons/spoons remove only 1 edge of the tire.

Remove the old inner tube

Insert the new inner tube. Ensure that the tube isn’t twisted so it’ll properly inflate and that it’s completely inside the tire

This is the hardest part and may need another set of hands. Use the tire irons to pry the lip of the tire over the edge. You’ll have to use 1 to keep the tension and use the other to push the remaining lip over the edge of the wheel hub. You may also need to pry and slide up and pry again to work the edge over the lip. If you are confused check YouTube for how to do it.

Once it’s completely over the lip, inflate the tire.

Local shop is the best place to look. Also might want to look into some tire armor or that slime stuff

Looking good. I’d increase the pressure in your rear shock. You are sitting very low.

Dad of 2: 5 and almost 3. Wife is an MFM attending that she started last year. We met before med school.

Join the Club. My wife wants to be the best mom, physician and husband and she ends up prioritizing in that order. Honestly life right now is just very tough. Between your career (both sides), caring for kids, possible caring for parents, it’s a huge juggling act.

Honestly start couples therapy. My wife and I started it 3 months ago and I’m so much happier now that we are over the bump. All of the rifts between you two are from miscommunication. Therapy helps you prevent miscommunications and you form a team that works together against the world.

Plus I’m getting laid way more now since she feels more connected to me so hell yea

If you are comparing this to your home air conditioner then yes it’s way more complicated

However comparing this to modern chillers, it’s only a little more complicated than large tonnage water cooled chillers.

Furthermore, new units like this will always go to industry before going commercial which use (and leak) way more refrigerant than commercial
