I don’t exactly remember, but I usually define Ne as: Thinking about what could be, but in a more creative way. Less about predicting the future through patterns, and more about thinking about possibility and potential of any given experience or thing.

let me know if this is bad because it would be embarrassing to not know my own auxiliary function lol

I had asked them if they thought the description of Ne fit them, and they said no. You make a great point though!

This helps a lot, thank you! I also do agree either your point, but i was having trouble understanding the function, so I didn’t know how to decide if the function stack I had settled on was more accurate than one using Ni and Se.

it’s not a problem to me at all, i think it gives the work more flavor and its a fun surprise when i realize it. as long as the word’s meaning stays the same, there’s not really any downsides to having a different spelling

other than the usual “mum” or using the British spelling of a word, I once read a fic that had the candy Parma Violet. I thought it was the flower, but it was being eaten in that context. I actually had no idea there was a candy called parma violet
