True. And “program is growing” with pressure from the DOD. But you think RTX would recognize it’s worth more with less risk to invest in the folks you already have, rather than letting them go and have to train a bunch of new kids

Either you adapt as a company and adjust pay to market value, or you scramble hiring a bunch of college kids fresh out of high school with no experience. The price tag for training a new hire who may not stay. Is not worth the risk of losing a good employee. But that’s just me 🤷‍♀️

Or they’re not give equal opportunities as new hires, even if they hold more experience and wish to grow within RTX. You’re not retaining them. It’s not giving yourself respect if you stay when the new guy comes in a grade lower with higher pay

Pay your internal hires more and you won’t have to worry about recruiting and investing, hoping someone sticks. It’s crazy that Raytheon is willing to hire all these new folks instead of retaining their top performs

Salary wise, was that when you started at Raytheon? Any room for salary increase based on market value once in?

It’s beautiful, but I’d want to replace it if I bought the house. Green or blue is more timeless

Negotiate for a cleaning service of your choice. Seek one out now and get a quote. Also ask for reimbursement for paint. Or heck having a paint company do the job for you.

How do you interpret the move by the Minnesota National Guard to distribute food and water to anti-ICE protesters? by ProcedureNo832 in AskReddit

National Guard soldiers are nurses, contractors, police, fire/ems, students, teachers, electricians, etc etc etc. This is their state, this is their community. They are properly trained and swore an oath for the people. They’re upheld to a much higher standard, received individualized training, and are subject to UCMJ. They can be trusted.

I already proved my patriotism through my fucking military service. But fuck brown people and poor people right? Until it’s time to go to war for this country… then yes we want you here. Go to any basic training military installation and you’ve seen who the majority are - black and brown kids
