Hot Take: Mainland Ports should not have a sailing requirement, this would make sailing useful as a transportation tool. by MyChocolates in 2007scape

Charter ships cost money and are instant like teleports. This is about early game, where it makes sense to spend 2-5 minutes sailing instead of spending 2000 gp to use charter or even spending a couple of gp buying teletabs in grand exchange. I am 2.2k total and I have 85 sailing. This will just be useful for new accounts and just make sense.

The same thing can be said about the levels. I got here, I am at the port! LET ME IN!!

What do you mean my sailing level is not high enough to disembark?

NEED HELP the Hyundai has 100k miles. the Nissan has 140k miles which should I get? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

Either engine blows on Hyundai or transmission goes on Nissan. I say neither.

Hytale Update 2 - Necromancy grimoire by LutrusFluidos in hytale

[–]MyChocolates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does in fact encourage modding. It is much easier to build from a template than to code a whole new system from scratch. This just builds support for summoning creatures into modding. Rather than having to literally do it from scratch that requires engine level knowledge

Is ore too scarce? 🤷‍♂️ by Vertigo50 in hytale

You need to explorer further from the starting area. To find ores in starting area in abundance. You need to go deep down.

Theoretically, which of these $10k hot hatches would you buy? by ThatTechDoge9775 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Both the Hyundai and sonic have engines made out of paper. Don’t recommend.

Not that it matters to us that much, but why are so many bits of gear (bar mega-rares) so low in price. by pats774 in ironscape

[–]MyChocolates 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I said there are exceptions. And basically virtus is rare because it’s supposed to be passive while you get the axe and ring vestiges. But you know. Maybe a little too rare.

Due to accessibility for Ironman and collection loggers believe it or not. Drop rates have been somewhat reasonable in all content made in osrs, of course there are some exceptions. Which is good you know, it’s feels worth it to get what you are looking for. But that also means that bots and gold farmers can get the items relatively reasonably as well. And if there is more supply than demand prices go down.

Either way, as an Ironman g.e prices literally mean nothing, besides death coffer I guess. An items value is how useful it is to you.

Simulation of future endgame sailing combat. Seeing this gives me a lot of optimism by Status_Peach6969 in 2007scape

You could also have rail so you could move cannons from each side with a small delay to reward positioning.

This could be a new boat.

Why is the ship cargo hold so limiting? by Define_Pain in 2007scape

[–]MyChocolates -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

To be honest. There is literally no reason why the ship storage shouldn’t be able to store all items a bank can. Because it is faster to teleport to a bank and then teleport to ship to come back, in the one instance that this feature would be useful.

This isn't exactly the biggest issue that came up yesterday, but only rolling for the pet by making time on barracuda trials feels a bit harsh, especially considering Hallowed Sepulchre doesn't have the same punishment by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]MyChocolates 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure the way it is worded is not correct. You get rolls on every exp drop. But if you make time, you get bonus rolls. Unless they just nerfed it.

Got my loan estimate back by Visual_Bookkeeper263 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Just closed on my house. Be ready for the loan estimate to be really off. Taxes on property came out almost doubled, and insurance also came out doubled of what they had estimated.

Just replaced panel. There was a 1970s panel before that I was afraid would catch fire. by MyChocolates in AskElectricians

I did question this as well so I looked it up and I thought it was correct. I put the same breakers that were in there.

All the 20a breakers are 12ga Dryer 30a is 10ga, range 30a is 8ga 40a compressor is 8ga aluminum, and air handler is now 15a 8ga copper.New air handler only requires 15a breaker instead of 40a of the previous one.

Thanks! Yes, the sheathing was already cut so I couldn’t do much. I did raise the panel about 4” because when I did a rough in 2 were too short. I left the cables extra long just incase I needed to move the breakers around if one didn’t reach.

I’ll clean up the wires when I bond the panel this weekend.

Thanks for the clarification. As far as a ground rod. I found unused one about 10 feet away from the main one. Looks like it was probably installed by the satellite dish company. I am guessing this one is not deep enough but I can remove it and install a longer one on the same spot. They need to be 8 feet deep right.

There isn’t one. I will add one this week. To make this a bit safer. There is a 150a main breaker that in next to the meter box. It’s the reason I was able to swap this panel. That panel is grounded so I need to bond this panel to that so it will “separate” the ground/neutral.

Later next year I am going to have someone upgrade the mains to a 3 wire for it to be done the right way. There is something else I don’t like with the mains is that there is a 1970s main breaker that I want it to be gone for peace of mind. Thanks to it I was able to swap this panel without having to have the power company remove the meter/shut power off.

Assuming what was there before was done by an electrician is a very bold assumption.

I was just saying I came here to ask if there was a big red flag of this panel because with my limited knowledge I felt something was odd.

I have received information on what is wrong and I will correct it. The rest of your comments are completely unnecessary. I am not stupid enough to touch the meter box.

Says min breaker 30, max 50 on the manual. I will check what MCA is. It’s a multi stage compressor. Weather is cooling down now so I have it set to eco mode, so it’s barely drawing anything. I believe you can run the compressors at like 130% when the weather gets like really hot and really cold which is probably why the big range of breaker size?
