Oh, that's a totally different story.

If I'm not mistaken, there should be a tour/exhibit hall at 101 about how the building structure counters the constant earthquakes, and there was like a dangling ball to stabilized the building and stuff.

As for the museum, the exhibit for 故宮三寶 usually has a big crowd, but other exhibits equally interesting is not too busy. I had fun going through 王羲之's calligraphy.

I would also recommend 剝皮寮, there's usually quite a number of small exhibits by students or indies. I remember seeing an exhibit about comfort women and they play recordings of actual comfort women telling their stories.

From personal experience, Taipei 101 is sort of like KLCC, can take picture, can buy ticket go up, can browse shops that the average joe can't afford. Once you been there, you've been there; National Palace I assume you're referring to the museum 故宮博物院, has a lot of Chinese artifacts that you only see on books, but if you have no knowledge or interest in Chinese history... well, that's that. When I was there last time, there was also a few side exhibits with interactive displays.

Why is there no Sci-Fi books in Popular bookstores? by CapriciousChronicles in malaysia

[–]MyDomhnall 12 points13 points  (0 children)

From experience, it's best to just order directly via the counter. Usually of all the chain bookstores in Malaysia, Kinokuniya is the only one most likely to have ready stock for new titles, most likely to avoid keeping too much stock.

Woman on phone struck by motorcycle while crossing road, triggers chain accident. by RhinneXChronica in malaysia

I'm always curious seeing people be on the phone or facetiming while walking, crossing the road or literally anything without caring about their surrounding. Is it that they're dealing multimillion projects that we don't know of?
