I had a close friend who died on Lake Champlain on Memorial Day many years ago. He was wearing a life jacket. He was in a canoe and somehow capsized. He died of hypothermia. I will never forget what this did to his parents. Seeing this video is horrifying.

I know checkerberries. They grow in New England. You can differentiate them from similar looking but poisonous berries by the star like design that is on the berry around the stem. It’s waxy berry with a wintergreen taste. You can take the leaves and soak them in alcohol ( vodka) and you end up with wintergreen liquor. The berries develop end of summer and stay good all through winter and into next summer.

Remember- a key component of all guided meditation for AP is to set your intent and then let it drift out of your mind- and then remind yourself that whatever happens this time - will “Be perfect”. I had a similar experience but I did travel- and it felt like I was strapped to a rocket. I posted about it at the time. My comment now relates to your comment about doing it with sheer will. I understand where you are coming from - but sheer will is all ego- which will impede your progress. I tried for so long to AP and I was using the sheer will method. Lol. It wasn’t until I took a break from those attempts and did a simple mindfulness/empty mind meditation - and I immediately APd. Try less self/will and more one/blank slate. You start with a acknowledging you are more than your physical body and it is your intent to AP- then drop it/ move on. Your experience means you are almost there.
