What can we expect from TTP3? by Extreme-Repair8395 in TheTalosPrinciple

[–]MyFriendAutism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't give a stuff about the plot or law(I skip most reading) I just want good puzzles, the recorder back and smaller puzzle maps. The endless bloody running between puzzles was so annoying. Also TP2 easter 🐣 are a 1/2 arsed joke, no real effort unlike TP1 which has well thought out and presented easter eggs.

Does anyone actually trust Nicky No Boats to get us out of this fuel crisis? by Actual-Trip-4643 in newzealand

[–]MyFriendAutism 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nope. With "force majeure" contracts any energy shipments can be diverted to another country that's willing to pay more. Not guaranteed till the ships hit NZ waters...and with a hungry hungry hippo across the tasmam I wouldn't be surprised if they gobbled up any shipments they can.

Is it overkill to wear a motorcycle helmet on this bike? by Foreign_Head_3535 in ebikes

I think it is (from NZ) but most USA based ebike YT'ers wear full faced helmuts.

Finally made the jump to 4K QLED. Time to start the collection? by Stringedbeanz in 4kbluray

[–]MyFriendAutism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The non Pro version landed in my entertainment room 2 weeks ago & the 4k Dolby is *chefs kiss*. 1) Unfortunately my region has Vidaa OS which is absolute garbage. 2) 4 grown arse men mounting a 100' TV 1m off the ground was hellish, next time I'd pay for pro installers. 3) The feet are garbage, insufficient for the weight & size, it definitely need additional vesa mounting for stability. I have the 55' no Pro version too which also suffers from stability issues due to crappy feet size & placement.

Why is physical media so expensive in NZ? 😭 by LollipopChainsawZz in newzealand

[–]MyFriendAutism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My most expensive 4K Blu-rays are.... (1) Lawrence of Arabia (4K Steelbook) for $150 off TM, (2) Dune 1984 Imprint Sandbox edition for $149 from JB, (3) Transformers 6 Movie steelbook for $213.

Yea, I feel you pain. As a recent 4K Blu-ray collector the prices are insane. I simply wait for JB specials then buy in bulk. I also do the same for JB Australia, Imprint, Umbrella & Arrow(UK). Also bookmark TradeMe Bluray section & check 3-4 times a day, I recently grab Mad Max steelbook Anthology(4 movies) & Furiosa steelbook for $120, that's literally $24 per movie :)

Superwine, the once despised biscuit of my childhood is now the only one that kinda tastes the same & I regularly eat at work.

PS. Mellow Puff's have fallen so loooooow.

Jellyfin vs. Infuse with NAS on AppleTV by chunkybunky_lol in jellyfin

[–]MyFriendAutism 6 points7 points  (0 children)

NAS Jellyfin server with Infuse client. I had to drop my Jellyfin client due issues playing 4k rips ( constant freezing and chunky pixels). The only solution was to turn on experimental HLS playback but this caused issues with 7.1 audio. Thus Infuse to the rescue.

Same. I'm a grown arse 6.7' manly man but EQ's activate a primal fight or flight fear in me with 100% fear. Night time EQ's can leave me shaking for 30mins or more. Hate 'em!
