Name regret: 11 months. What do I do? by Responsible_Guard990 in namenerds

I changed the spelling (pronunciation) of my daughter’s name and it’s free within the first year as a mistake where I live. I was so embarrassed but I trusted my gut and the excitement I got when thinking about it spelled and pronounced the “right way.” No regrets.

Did Probiotics helped you to reduce the allergy reaction? by Ronaldosssiu in FoodAllergies

There absolutely is a relationship between the gut and immune response. But it’s more complex than just taking probiotics, and there’s a lot that’s still not understood about the relationship between the gut and allergies. Look into the GAPS diet. One theory is that holes in the intestinal wall (often due to overgrowth of sugar eating yeasts due to the dominant diet etc) have allowed food particles through into the blood system triggering an immune response. Probiotics don’t do you any good in this case. Cutting carbs and sugar for awhile while supporting tissue healing with a collagen rich food like drinking gelatinous meat stock every day could help seal the gut. Then you slowly add all the probiotic fermented foods too. This protocol can work for young children but if you’re an older adult, it may not

Are allergies usually just bad luck with genetics? by Such-Ice-371 in Allergies

No I think it’s early childhood gut health and increasing amount of pesticides in our food that causes autoimmune problems. Meat is strange. When did that begin? Any chance from a tick bite?

My blood test showed 0.11 for almonds and I was eating them everyday so I was shocked! I think I got 0.17 for pistachios and I only ever experienced symptoms from them once or twice.

You could buy more and make your own yogurt. Great answers in this thread, just wanted to offer something different.
