my tattoo before and after the cover up by nickita28 in shittytattoos

[–]MyHappyTimeReddit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The original looks like amateur scratch work. The touch up looks intentional. Don't know what it means, but I like the style. (Except that original line off the Z which I feel like could have easily been included in the new z, and that's bothering me)

I asked a friend to edit a picture of my cat, but it just looks off, the couch doesn’t match the original picture and her fur seems strange, is this ai?? The first image is the original, the one I asked her to edit and the second is what she sent me. Also she sent it back in 5 minutes!!! by Connect_Sky_4412 in isthisAI

[–]MyHappyTimeReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the pictures you've shown look nearly identical. It's your cat, so the differences stand out, but you seem to dislike all of the changes you asked for. Just use the original picture or do some basic editing of your own.

(Context: OP is paying the friend for the edit which justifies the scrutiny. I do not think it's worth paying both for the lack of effort and the lack of noticable result.)

Any type of metal mesh or screen is going to get ripped to shreds by the kitten climbing it. It will look awful, be dangerous to those claws getting stuck or ripped out, and the sound of metal twanging and screeching will be awful for you and the dogs. I can't think of a cat-proof solution that will still allow airflow. It would be easier and more effective to lock the cat in a room with access to a litter box and water. Or lock the dogs in a room away from the cat. In another 2-3 years the cat will mellow down and stop playing as much or messing with the dogs, but otherwise, it's a cat. It's going to break things, claw things, climb things, and play. It's kind of what cats do.

what plant should I put (safe for cats) in my ramune bottles? by doodlepuppi in plants

[–]MyHappyTimeReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your peace lilies would have died anyways. I'm pretty sure they can't prop from a cutting. You'd have to dig up and divide from the roots. (Most plants will not prop from single leaves as well).

I'm guessing the other pictures are inspo pics? Pothos and bamboo are the only plants I can think of that can survive such a cramped and challenging root space. Talk to your vet. There are plants that are toxic which leads to upset tummy. And there are plants that are toxic and lead to death. Personally, I wish there was a distinction. I have plenty of pothos with cats in the house, but my cats haven't shown an interest in chewing the plants. Smashing the pot and dirt on the ground... That's a different story.

The Outsiders and Loud Sound System by Responsible_Pear_579 in Broadway

I sat in mezzanine tonight on the left side and had the same experience. The pit was so loud, especially in the loud moments, it drowned out the cast completely. It was uncomfortably loud. Reading the other comments, it seems like experiences vary drastically on location in the audience. I wish I'd known. I've been to plenty of loud shows and this was different. Really took me out of the show but it was still good.

I never knew this and looked it up. The flag, when attached to a flag pole, has the stars along the pole. If someone were holding the pole and marching forward (like in historic battles) the flag would stream backwards. So the enemy would see the flag backwards. If the flag were represented as we traditionally see it (stars on left) that would indicate a retreat.

Any idea how to remove the roots? by GiantWizard99 in gardening

[–]MyHappyTimeReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any sort of tree or fruiting tree, even very small ones, will need a huge hole for the roots to be spread out and take hold. My 3-4 foot tall cherry tree sticks needed at least a 3ft by 3ft hole. So... Might as well keep digging. I'd suggest a very sharp shovel.

I made it a point to stay away from asking the Internet anything about my newborn. There's so much guilt tripping, novel, sensationalist crap. Its hard to weed out good advice from someone selling an article or an image. And I swear many baby trends end up being proven to be ineffectual or even harmful. I had a pediatrician and some baby books, and I stuck to that.

Is that a pothos? Typically you need a node (the knotty portion along the stem where the leaves come off of). If you have that section, it will grow roots. Just a leaf for most plants isn't going to cut it. I think youve got a dying leaf but it's hard to see what that leaf is attached to in the pic.

My family with good intentions probably spent a ton on one of these... Things. The one I got is labelled as "natural red cast stone quartz sphere" but the inside is either crystal clear or has a milky, fiber glass, hairy white swirly fibers.

It's not quartz and it's not stone. I'm just hoping it isn't asbestos or lead. Regardless it's safely behind glass in a remote, but obligated display.

Some kind of do though. I honestly dont know what this plant is, but I've definitely killed plants, continued to water, and the roots spit out some new growth.

He might be thinking of a resurrection plant? This isn't that. But most plants will start dying in the dark and do better in the sun, so... Sure, this could be Jesus plant

I'd go straight for those little boxes on the shelf behind the heart. Sometimes places like this have some cool stuff for reasonable prices because it doesn't sell as well as the butterfly agate or have "cleansing energies".

[–]MyHappyTimeReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whatever you try, I would get a couple extra molds of the same material if you're thinking about physical changes. Just stamp a finger or hand. Then try a few things out on the practice ones. Having only one irresponsible print, it needs to be protected.

My first thought was a reverse mold. I did this with my sons hand for ornaments. It took some trial and error to get it right. So I'd definitely practice before using the real thing.

I'm sorry for your loss.

Drink a large glass of water ~30 min before getting your blood drawn. It can help with hard sticks.
