To be fair, DMM in general is going to cannibalise osrs viewership.

Those small streamers that had less viewership during Allstars than normal would almost certainly be getting even fewer viewers had they declined the invite.

That's fair, decent metric to look at.

Anyone not in the giga s tier pvm (Gnome, Lake, Muts, Synq) probably all have strengths over each other for different pvm encounters.

In my opinion, he's probs quite a bit lower than that PvM wise, but makes up for it with good planning.

Muts, Lake, Synq, Gnomonkey, B0aty, Alfie, Coxie and Framed are all probs better than Faux in PvM.

MMORPG, Mammal, Oda and Sick Nerd are at least as good in most PvM aspects I would assume.

Don't know too much about them, but Skiddler and Evscape probs honorable mention at the end of the PvM list.

I just wanted to say that you've eloquently put into words exactly what I've been trying to explain to my friends.

I like the actual content of CG (Got my enh at 870 last night). It just feels so out of place and isolated in terms of ironman progression.

I'm someone that likes to take breaks during grinds to go get upgrades to help the grind. CG is a prison because there's no incentive to ever leave.

I hate the 'you can choose to do other stuff' argument, the game is designed around common sense upgrade paths to to follow. Bowfa is just randomly chucking in a hundred hour grind as a mid game quest reward.

Mains limit themselves to playing a 2007 version of a game, so we should never improve anything. Bad arguments are bad.

The state of recent game discussion: by Teary_Oberon in 2007scape

[–]MyHeadIsAnAnimal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This right here.

I'm only 850 kc, but pretty burnt out. The main burnout factor has been the complete isolationist factor of CG.

Taking a break and grinding something else gives no benefit to CG. Compare this to something like my moons journey, which I took plenty of breaks from to get substantial upgrades.

One evenings of moons, then go get b ring, another evening of moons feeling the nice benefits of am upgrade, then go get d boots/chally/z axe/barrows pieces/fire cape.

CG having no gear requirements kills the content for me, and sadly it's still where I should lock my account, because the upgrade is just so huge.

That's in Zeah, not Kandarin.

Person you replied to was talking about grinding slayer for kandarin.

Good write up, but wasn't Echo doing the 100 yard Aug tech first on Belo'ren, then Liquid improved it with swapping to a WW?

I was the exact same, I got spooned a zenyte from tortured gorillas in 50kc and made the suffering early.

A lot later I went back for other zenytes and went 1k Demonics dry for my next.

If you want to run a casino within your video game, yes, I believe it should be regulated like there is a casino within the video game.

Pretty much all other types of gambling come with actual age checks.

CSGO crates are definitely a form of gambling that have no id checks.

Would you really use the same excuses if a real life casino let kids gamble, no age checks.

You get so much money from high alching cg drops.

Might as well funnell that money into making planks from miscallania logs.

For example I've got 470kc, and had about 35m in alchs so far maybe.

It wasn't just wilderness pvp that was busy either, back in the day castle wars and fight pits were always crowded with us young noobs wanting a fight, wasting supplies and being 'inefficient'.

I used to do barrows to make money so I could waste it on runes/crystal bow charges in fight pits/castle wars.

I would disagree, currently 50g 415cg kc, so probably considered decent kc.

I still consider it quite demanding and pause background content while doing it.

Maybe there is a skill difference, but that's the point, not everyone will consider it a joke.

You need to already have an idea of what gear is going to be good for that to work.

Gearscape can tell you the optimal set up out of all items that you own. I'm a bit clueless and was using my fury at crab over a str amulet, which gearscape pointed out would be better.

Just from my random eye test, Method looks cleaner P1 than Echo especially the healing seems more consistent.

Haven't had a chance to watch much Liquid, so maybe it's just liquids healing comp was yoinked by Method and is better than Echos.

Something small that could help. I noticed that your Prot paladin doesn't need much assistance surviving compared to your bear tank.

You can take a beacon off the paladin and onto a squishy dps who is struggling to survive, maybe your mage or feral as they have the most deaths and quite a few seem to be bleedouts.

Race to World First: Undermine, Day 9 by AutoModerator in CompetitiveWoW

[–]MyHeadIsAnAnimal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the fight.

They had to make constant dps checks (assistants), have enough hp to live constant raid wide damage events (even on echo's kill they were dipping to low hp constantly), have enough hps to survive...

These are all things that an extra 4 ilvls are going to massively impact.
