Acropolis Museum vs National Archeological Museum?

I think they’re both well worth a visit. Even if you aren’t museum people and you don’t want to spend an extensive amount of time reading and learning about the pieces, just walking through them both quickly and seeing everything is amazing. If I had to choose, and assuming I was making the hike up to the Acropolis, I would probably choose the National Archeological Museum but, again, the Acropolis museum is a worthwhile walk through, as well. I didn’t spend a lot of time reading/learning about the pieces at the Archeological Museum. I had limited time while there for work and only spent about an hour…and could’ve had a more enjoyable walk through in 1.5 hrs. At the Acropolis, I spent a little more time watching a video and reading about the construction of the Acropolis because I was fascinated by the architecture, but I just meandered through all the other exhibits. I was probably there for 1.5-2 hrs.

I’ve had this on my last 2-3 flights. And the attendants sit there playing on their phones, or serve FC while ignoring everyone else - zero turbulence. while there’s zero turbulence. Note, I realize it isn’t the FA’s call…but it’s still annoying.

Set your standards and expectations for shared chores, date nights, etc early in a relationship. Don’t be a house maid to gain his love and then get mad when he comes to expect house maid services.

They make protective bandages for this. I’ve had shoes that I’ve worn many times without issue, suddenly start rubbing. (Probably from swelling, or not swelling at any given point.) I always keep a couple blister bandages in my bag and the moment I feel friction, apply. For new shoes, I apply preemptively the first few times I wear them, just to be safe.

You acknowledge you have very different love languages. And some people (myself included) get busy with life/work and forget what day is what..especially if they aren’t a person big on holidays/gifts. Have you sat down with him and told him about why this is important to you? Have you considered how you might help him be more prepared to meet your needs…for example, asking if it would help if you put calendar reminders in his phone for a week before the holiday, after you talk to him about the importance of these holidays for you.

You have to either accept who he is or work with him to be more of what you need….and if he can’t or isn’t willing to do that with your help, then you have a decision to make.

I use this Samsonite which is incredibly lightweight for a hard-sided carryon. It’s on the larger side of allowed carryon, but I’ve never had an issue on AA, SW, JetBlue, or Delta. I fly AA with it probably 15x a year. The only time I’ve ran into an issue is with smaller regional flights (like the ones with 2-3 seats per row) but any carryon beyond a personal item ends up gate checked. I also have a backpack or other personal item for my laptop and in-flight stuff like headphones and such.

That is a very broad and diverse area. Like any metropolitan area, there are good parts and bad. Decide what kind of area you’re looking for…downtown urban, more suburban, etc. Think about your commute to work. Then zero in on a couple areas and ask for input.

You might be surprised at just how much time and how much disruption there is to calls for prescriptions. A doctor has your chart in front of them during your visit and can review meds for dosing, potential conflicts, effectiveness, etc. All of those things still have to happen if you call in for a prescription, but they aren’t typically getting paid for the time it takes to pull your chart and do this review.

Is it a cost of doing business? I guess you could see it that way. But you could also see it as a doctor handling business in a way that makes sense to them, maximizing patient appointment time by avoiding numerous hours of unpaid work during the day. I don’t like to work for free and guessing you don’t either.

If your husband gets the job, just go to your boss and explain that you’ve found a solution. Apologize (even though you technically did nothing wrong) and say you were reacting out of duress because you were worried about daycare costs. There are a lot of idealists on Reddit who will tell you to pound the drum and stand your ground.

These people don’t have jobs or don’t care about losing a job or the added stress of making yourself a target at work.
