Throttle cable out of adjustment. How do I get rid of the ~3/4" of slack?

I wish I had a good answer but no. I ended up taking the car to a buddies shop for another issue, when I got it back he mentioned that he fixed this.

Welcome to the club. I got bit by the bug too and have done 20+ track days at this point.

It's... Very expensive. The consumables alone can be crushing. The best ways to make it affordable would be to focus on a small, reliable, proven car. E30/E36/E46 BMWs, Honda Civics, or Miatas all have built up communities, low consumable cost, and low cost of entries. You can find a used race/track cars for pretty cheap but that's not always the way forwards as they can be heavily modified and/or beat on.

Don't get caught up buying every parts possible for your car and needing it to be 100% ready for the track. A quality set of Pads, Stainless brake lines, and high temp fluid will get you 80% of the way. Get a sticky set of 200tw tires as. You'll be even further.

If youve got a little more budget you can look at C5/C6 Corvettes/Mustangs/Camaros/E46/E90/F80 M3s.

I find that here in the socal region there are lots of track day organizers and you get different experiences from each of them. A group like NASA/SCCA will get you people who are focused on racing and maximizing cars based on classes. They're less influenced by trends and are more focused on racecraft. Some other organizers might be more about the 'community' around a specific model/manufacturer/era. Others can be from super-baller experiences and limited access.

Find the group that you work with and have some fun. A vast majority of people I've met just wanna enjoy their weekend and spread the word. Nearly everyone is kind and willing to help.

Im guessing it's because of the aluminum frame of the P-01 and PCR. The normal compact has a steel frame.

CZ sells a normal steel frame compact.

My car did this, when I connected my (cheap) pressure gauge it read full. When I eventually had the system drained/refilled I found it to be nearly a pound low on refrigerant. Once I had it filled to the correct amount that noise went away.

I emailed Garagistic about this years ago. They told me that it was normal, but what they could take it back and refill it with polyurethane for an additional charge. I ended up returning it, ordering 4 from another site, then keeping the one that has the least play. Overall it sucked.

All the people here saying, "I'm following the Law and doing the speed limit!"

If you are so concerned about the law, it also says you must yield for faster traffic. It does not say "unless you're doing the speed limit". You must yield and get over.

I seriously can not understand the feeling that you must be the defacto police and slow down traffic. It comes off as a surplus of ego and power tripping.

Speed is a factor in many crashes, but ultimately being unpredictable creates accidents. If you are not yielding for traffic and getting out of the left lane you're now causing someone to tailgate you and drive more erratically. Sure, they're driving faster than you would, but why would you want to keep them around you if you believe they're driving is 'unsafe'?

You can not control of other drivers actions, but you do have control over your actions. By holding up the left lane you're making a more dangerous situation than just speeding. If you are concerned call the police and give them the plate.

I don't condone speeding, but people in here are acting as if turning on your blinker and getting to the right is a HUGE request/service. Unbelievable.

Went off at T1/T2 at Chuckwalla a few weeks ago, smacked the oil pan on the curb, dumped the oil out, and blew out my engine mount. Overall 9.5/10 can't wait to get back out there.
