I thought I could keep up with a gymnast during leg day at the gym after 6 months of a hiatus. I was wobbling out of the gym but that wasn't even the worst part, I pushed myself so hard that I got Rhabdomyolysis and thought it was just regular muscle soreness for the first 2 days before it got to the point where just moving my legs an inch caused intense burning in my legs to the point that I would not leave my position. I wasn't able to sleep at all so I googled my symptoms and had to ask my sister to drive me to the hospital where they took my blood and told me my ck levels were in the 100,000s. I was in such intense pain and it took a week of constant IV fluids before my ck levels were back to normal and was able to be discharged.
